Waking up to a kitty nuzzling my cheek, stopping, looking at me and saying "meow" and then licking my hand, and repeating the process a couple times until I decided it was inevitable, I needed to wake up and pet him.

A call from my neighbor telling me she made it safe to Dallas with my pets and talking to my boy Zeus on the phone. I also received a call from my Commanding Officer telling me he was alright and to stand by for further instructions on Monday.

Syr Thomas makes me smile... for Hy knows ... instinctively ... when my FMS is flaring and my CFIDS ... calls... and stays on that phone with me until Hy is certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that i am resting, eating right, sleeping right and doing what i must to be healthy and well ...
realizing... that even before either of us knew it... we had already planted and sown the seeds... which grew to this incredible closeness.... the closenesss that allows us to feel each other ... despite 2673.8 miles of land between us...
i'm a lucky girl ... and sometimes it doesn't seem enough to shout it or scream it in here... because had i the means... i would shout it from every mountain top ... that Hy loves me ...

AND Ebullient... I usually plan my travels well enough that I don't drive too far or that much, so I don't think gas will be a huge issue (I hope)... LoL.
First and foremost, I have more of a smile than she thinks cuz of talking to her. I wish she could actually see how I feel just hearing her voice.
My 2nd smile today comes from the "3" new tattoos I got on my back. They are not quite finished and only outlines but looking awesome already.

Leaving the ER my Ex wishing me happiness with my newfound one., and said I am still a pain in her ass....and smiled.....I insisted on getting her to the ER today when she stopped by, and I found her over the toilet bowl,pale as a ghost.... She was tested for West Nile Virus.
The real pain was when she got shots in her backside, for nausea and URI --which she has had since her return last week from deployment to Mississippi. Her group helped to get their water treatment systems back on line, and was one of the first response teams on the scene.

My work friends throwing me a birthday party... and getting me an absolutely unbelievable gift...ok and some silly cards and porn and jokes and things that would embarass anyone else...but I left knowing they loved me.
Watching my 7 year old daughter walk around with her new mp3 player she got for her birthday last night.. singing at the top of her lungs...*laughs*...she really wanted a cd player and no idea what the mp3 player was when she opened it...i am pretty sure that she is liking this better...*grins*

It was great to get back to church today and see so many friends and faces I missed over the summer. I was overcome with smiles and that warmth of feeling when you're welcomed back to your community with open arms, loving smiles and total acceptance. And then, they trump it by asking you to volunteer for everything!
