I myself burried my brother in-law this week.
The slient killer took him at age 45. He left my sister and 2 1/2 yr old nephew to take care of. So sad that that little boy will not remember his dad.

From the ice storms that rumbled through NC and SC this past week, I lost power, water, heat and phone this past Wednesday. I finally got to take my first shower on Saturday, at a truck stop that finally got power. I am nothing if not inventive.
Never knew how much I washed my hands before!
Today, I have phone, power, heat, water, everything. I am out of the Dark Ages and back into the now.
I think I even cried when everything came back on.
You never know how good you have it until it's taken away, even lights and heat. I am a very, very happy girl.

Her name's Kelsey Marae, but everyone in my family calls her something different... (she's only gonna be a LIL confused later on.. lol) I call her sweet meat, my mother calls her Kel, and my real father calls her Lil Rae. so it pretty much personal preference.. lol
