Well, I've cooked the obligatory bird (mainly to make soup with later, lol) and cooked the big meal and (ugh) cleaned up after it and played in the snow with my son (although the snow is not good enough to make a snowboi with, too dry) and now I'm *gasp* taking some time for ~ME~ if you can believe that?
Something I've rediscovered about snow: It's hard work to shovel it! LOL
Where the heck is Da Bunny? If anyone knows what's going up with her would you drop me a line?

I'm majorly bummed today - went for a flu shot yesterday and stepped on their scale and OMG I've gained 10 pounds in the three months I've been up here. I knew I had gained a few, you can tell by how the clothes fit, but... ten pounds? Slippery streets or not, I've got to find a way to get in some exercise - I can't afford new clothes! I used to walk every day in SC and got out of the routine here and now the roads are awful. Can't afford a gym, maybe an exercise tape? Gotta do *something*!

Snow. Gorgeous - but hard to shovel. Beautiful - but treacherous to drive in. But I'm enjoying it anyway. I've turned the car on a couple of times, warming it up - was supposed to go get it winterized yesterday but one of those darn lake-effect storms came up and I took my sweet self back home! - cuz I don't want it to freeze up on me totally. Anyone know what they put in radiators nowadays? I know there is coolant in there for the SC summers but is it also an antifreeze? Should I get out there and warm it up a couple times overnight until I can get it somewhere after work tomorrow? Ok, I admit it, coolant/antifreeze isn't an area of expertise for me!

YES... the same coolant in there for the SC summers is also an antifreeze? There should be enough left in the radiator to do you temporarily. That is if it has not been drain out. Look inside the radiator cap or even better the jug that the radiator over flows to. If the water is a shade of green or reddish yellow then you should be ok until you get it changed soon.

had a nice long weekend away. lots o' food and fun to be had. beatimus scenery, too, up there in the mountains o' n.c.! well, 'cept fo' the fact that one o' mah nephews got me sick. sick, i say! a cold, sore throat, fever...yuck...and i'm out sick today. reckon it'll be soup, crackers, ginger ale and hot tea pour moi today!

long time no talky...
I had a great week *S* (yes this is very much of an understatement)
Cooked Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday...so far everyone has survived
Went to my parents (I think that is what they're called) on Saturday...dad cooked enough for an army and the marines...
Went to an Xmas parade on Sunday, my son is in ROTC and was marching.
Seen a few movies...beat the kids...kicked the dogs...
drank some cheap wine...lol
stars were beautiful on Saturday

Took the car in to be serviced today. One of the greatest things about owning a Saturn is their service department (gosh, I wish they would pay me to say it but it's true!) and this dealership is no exception to the general rule. And thank goodness for an extended warranty.... they're fixin things I didn't know were bad and it's not costin' me a thing - they had to keep the car overnight and paid for a rental car for me too!

I got some last week or week before and they do help but she's still miserable.
You can use them more frequently then what the box says....that's for sure....warm compresses on the tummy too...lots of love and touch! wish I could offer you more....rocking always seem to help as well...or walking with baby firmly against your chest.....

First exam down....2 more to go.....I am sure I aced it last night....even though I had to hurry home....thought about cooking dinner but a phone message from the school to come in early or reschedule EXAM...changed that thought...so I went in....it was abreeze for most part...I ?'d a couple of the ?'s BUT* in the end after I slowed down I truly could break most everything down by parts.....only *1* I think I may have gotten wrong...so I should be dancing in my glory by Friday or Monday when I get that grade!!!!!
