Hello all my SC friends!

The job... well, jelli my deeeeeeeelicious friend, the job kinda sorta sucks. Now, this doesn't mean that I'm not grateful for it, or that I'd rather be unemployed... just that the job is not what I had hoped it would be. And the shame is that, except for the lack of management, it *could* be a great job. But using the brain that was given to you and coming up with ideas and trying to make a difference is *not* encouraged there. And I *like* using my brain - it's one of my best features, lol! Anyway, I'm putting out some feelers while still there cuz I'm sure that sooner or later the manager is going to say something and I'm going to tell him exactly what I think (in a nice way but.... he's not the kind of manager you can communicate with) and my time will be numbered.

So.... that's the job situation. If I could afford it, I would honestly just give them time to get another body in the chair (cuz that's what I am) that could shuffle the papers around and then I'd be gone. But, yanno... I'm sort of addicted to eating, LOL!

Okay, off to iron something (yuk, I hate ironing) to wear for the morrow... y'all have a great holiday - I'll be cooking for two households and I don't think I'm going to enjoy it - and enjoy the weekend!
