My wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She has sailed through her double mastectomy (no reconstruction...she is sure she will not miss them!) Now the chemo has started (1 round down, 9 to go). We cannot find anything on having oral sex during chemo. Surely even straight couples encounter this issue?! Does anyone out there know if I should avoid her body fluids during all this? Thanks ahead...

I am not a doctor but I am a hypochondriac and Google is my best friend regarding medical matters.
The consensus seems to be that it is not a good idea to ingest the body fluids of someone undergoing chemotherapy. The drugs used are very toxic. Condoms are recommended for sex with men and dental dams for oral sex on women.
I found many interesting articles by googling "oral sex chemotherapy".
