I just returned from a week of travel to visit my folks up north. And man, now that I'm back, it's hotter than the hinges of Hell in Georgia this week! (Ok, yes, yes, yes, I've lived here 5 years, and I don't know why I'm always surprised that it gets *gasp* hot in Georgia in the summer.)
Anyway, hope you all are having a wonderful summer so far!

It isn't the heat, here, it's the humidity. Temps are gonna hit 90* tomorrow and Friday, and the humidity will pop all the oxygen right out of your lungs...........as much as i need to go get the tags for my car, think i'll wait until next week. i have till the end of the month, so i'm good......

It is such a nice cool morning. I am sitting on my front porch watching all the idiot drivers head to work.... but it sure is nice and cool.
Just curious if anyone has the HP Tx2 touchbook? I got this in a few days ago and absolutely love it. But I cannot figure how to do the split screen function. Love the whole finger print security and the touch screen!
Just a thought that someone might be able to help me figure out this split screen thing.

Mick, every piece of IT equipment I own is HP, but one, and their tech department is exceptional. The techs are very well versed in any type of HP gear, and your laptop should have come with some kind of tech support contract, yes? Even a limited 90 day warrantee?
If so, call HP at 800-474-6836. These folx will know how to help you with your problem.
However, is calling tech support kinda sorta like a guy asking for directions?.....no offense intended.....
If all else fails, PM MsLinus. That guy knows everything IT..

I am in Jax FL, originally from Savannah and I have to tell you. It is SO CONSERVATIVE here. I have lived in SF CA, Denver CO and a few other places and I cannot wait to go back west. I care for mom who has Alzheimer's and once she is not a factor in my location, I am out of here. Do not get me wrong, I hope mom is around a VERY long time. But, one day I will be back outwest. Most likely SF or the bay area.
