Mornin' all. It's super busy season on the farm so not a lot of time to post. Gabby is doing great! She's a happy little shit. Also have 30 lambs running around......about 150 chickens, 50 turkeys We have a new addition, a beautiful holstein cow named Camie that is providing us with the most wonderful milk/cream. Aurora has been busy making butter, ice cream and yogurt. Once you've had it that fresh you can never buy crap at the store again.
My buddy had hip replacement so I'm also looking after his farm for awhile.
I've also started a wildlife rehab and am raising a litter of raccoons. Cute little farts. And of course it's time to plant the fields and gardens. Whew......catch ya later.

morning all! LOL -- yes, i'm alive, but a little sleepy after staying up well past my bedtime two nights in a row. let's see, sunday morning was spent helping my friend paint her house and then went to a wnba game with ihp. then spent the holiday with my friend who is about to move away for residency. i will miss her terribly. she's an amazing friend. we went to ikea (i actually walked out of there only spending under 20 bucks!!!!! that's a first for me). then we made scrumptous cookies (i'll post the recipee if anyone is interested), took naps, went for a walk around the univ of michigan arboretum, and grabbed some pizza. and now i'm bushed. lol. gotta run and put my body together to go to school.

oh! but the most exciting part of my life at the moment -- my friend with whom i spent memorial day is good friends with the team doc for the detroit red wings. she said i could probably tag along with the team doc next season and sit on the side lines at the games! how cool is that???? i used to do sports medicine research before med school -- and for the longest time wanted to go into physical medicine and rehabilitation working in sports medicine. i've also contacted the chief of PM&R at the hospital affiliated with my med school to see if i can follow the team doc for other teams. we'll see what they say.

oh! but the most exciting part of my life at the moment -- my friend with whom i spent memorial day is good friends with the team doc for the detroit red wings. she said i could probably tag along with the team doc next season and sit on the side lines at the games! how cool is that???? i used to do sports medicine research before med school -- and for the longest time wanted to go into physical medicine and rehabilitation working in sports medicine. i've also contacted the chief of PM&R at the hospital affiliated with my med school to see if i can follow the team doc for other teams. we'll see what they say.

Chick Ink was a fast read - last night I fell asleep reading it and finished it before work this morning. It was quite strange - I can't remember the last time I fell asleep while reading! I went to bed shortly after midnight and the next thing I know it is 7am and the bedside light is still on!

Amazing how quick this process seems to be. I'm also going to attend the Gender Identity Project and possibly get some regular therapy to address some old ghosts (see my blog for details about the whys).

Anyways, hope everyone has a great day. I'm off to Philly tomorrow and probably won't bring my laptop with me so I may not be on that much for the next few days.

Hi everyone! I am home early today because Selena2003 and her mom have tickets for Phantom of the Opera tonight and I am babysitting

It was fun telling my manager I had to leave by 4pm ... lol ... i should do it more often!

Gabby is watching Alice in Wonderland ... she is all dressed up in her princess outfit ... with matching colorful necklaces...she is soooo adorable !!! I love to see her personality grow and flourish ~

Btw, I am a member of a group called Las Buenas Amigas and this year we have been given the privilege of being the first group to open Queen Pride!

well i can say i am feeling a little better...i have to..i have to go to work and make a living......

this morning i have Jakes last IEP as he is going to quit......i am not happy about it...but i have to say he is 17 and they can sign themselves out.....so i either agree and help him get his GED or he quits anyway and doesn't get the GED.....i guess some people are just not meant for books no matter how intelligent they are.......with the dam LD'S he has it just makes school too difficult and the public school system doesn't care about kids with LD'S they just care about this dam no child left behind crap so they can get their govt mney......(stepping off my soapbox now)

anyway....started an antibiotic...but that in itself makes ya feel like crap........

oh well the lesser of the two evils......

my hunny gets her keys to the new apt today........now i will have a resting area from the real world when things go bad...it will be nice to have a place to get away .....its so difficult blending personalities...when we are older and stuck in our ways.......

i never got to take my kids but i would say five or six.........

at Gabbys current age i would go for Sesame Place its all geared for her age group......2+ and there is even things for mom and dad.......i took sam when she was little and she loved it...

Hey Butchlei.....now you are speaking my language. I just got back from Walt Disney World 2 weeks ago. We met some cousins from Rochester, NY there. They have 6 year old twins. The kids had a great time (as did the adults).... I do recommend staying on Disney Property. They have a bus system that will take you to all the parks. Or depending on where you stay, you may can go by boat, monorail or even walk. I would say 4 or 5 years old before I would take a child. Only because I have been with friends that had kids that were 2 and 3 and when the kids were older, they didn't remember the trip

Good afternoon ya'll. I hope that everyone is doing good. Been busy working a lot of hours and then went on vacation and came back and jumped right back into working way too many hours.

I have to give my grandmother props because she handled the trip very well. We have noticed that she appears tired and has made little comments that cause me to get emotionally but other than that....she's still spunky.

I dont know if I have said anything but I have met someone that makes me very happy. We met on too which is even better.

well if jake wasn't convinced to quit before he is now....the meeting resulted in basically an hour of these high and mighty snobby bitches tearing my son down for about an hour........i could go on and on but i would just get pissy...i have never seen a kid curl up into an emotional ball as i did my son today ...if they were supposed to be productive and supportive they definetely missed the target...

but a good note...this very brilliant engineer at my work said he would tutor my son for absolutetly nothing more then to prove those biddies wrong.......he will pass and get his GED if he has anything to do with it.......

i am so glad....i told my son that the best revenge is SUCCESS......
