I was reading this thread, and became reflective on the topic of being single.. I too am single.. and have been single almost 2 years..(will be 2 years in April) however over this past summer I did see 2 different people.. one for a month and one for 3 months.. and decided that I would not settle for anyone less than what I deserved.
I like my own company, I am very self sufficient and can do anything that I set my mind to, I'm very independant, I have a good job, I just bought my very first brand new car right from the dealers lot, and I want to buy a house next year.. so for me.. it's not about "needing" a butch partner in my life for anything other than love.. I mean.. yes.. I get lonely from time to time and wish I had someone to love, to cuddle with, etc. and love me in return.. but it's just a passing feeling for me.. and I realize that it is because I get lonely from time to time..
What it's all about for me is actually "wanting" to share my life with someone.. upon reflection.. I realized that there is a huge difference..
I don't honestly think that I'm all that fussy about what I would want in a butch partner either.. I only have 5 little things I look for emotionally and mentally.. and they are.. honesty, loyalty, trustworthy, respectful, and monogamous.. I don't think that's too much to ask for in a partner.. I would give the same willingly.. but let me tell you.. lol.. I have discovered that these 5 little qualities are hard to find in one person.. I'm not sure why.. lol.. maybe I am fussy after all..
Anyway.. that's my thoughts on being single for now.. I hope you all have a great day!

Warning!!! I'm crabby today, I guess you can say im feeling alone. I miss having a femmes who cares. Here's the deal. I miss having a gf. I miss having someone call me to see if I'm having a good day or not. I miss having that concern
and worry from my partner. Today its cold and raining and my feet are wet. Yes I have the proper footwear. What's suppose to be waterproof isn't. I'm sorry I'm complaining, really I am. a postie with wet feet! that just wont do! .. dry out your boots and make sure you double up on socks.. if you dont have boot liners.. use plastic shopping bags in your boots and tuck the ends into your socks.. that will help with cold wet feet..

Howdy all sorry I've been gone so long got privately sworn in SaturdayBy a major who had to drive thirty mins to do it...I also have been consoling my best friend who is crazy as heck...she came over last night I didn't get to bed until 8:30am because sh decided she wanted to walk around the neighborhood...*shrugs* Needed the excercise.
Anyways...i just wanted to let everyone know I didn't get shot yet
And I dont think of it as basic training I think of it as opening up so many doors..and lots of push ups lol.

well we got hit here yesterday with a winter storm.. we have layers of ice.. snow.. back to ice.. then snow again.. hard to shovel the driveway.. can't wait for maitenance to arrive.. I did the walkway but the snow was too heavy for me to continue!This is a time when I wish I had a butch partner with nice strong arms.. NO not to shovel.. to hold me because I'm cold and need warmth!
