Hello everyone....i am just starting to put myself out there in the forums after much bashful lurking...
so, this seems a perfect place for me to be at the moment. Here goes (this little introspective questionnaire could take a while):

What are you looking for in a partner? Right now I am trying hard not to get into a serious monogamous relationship right away...i'm trying to date. What a concept....
Intelligence, self awareness, some spiritual awareness (even if it is conscious atheism), and good health are very important to me. Tall dark and handsome doesn't hurt but the physical pales in comparison to the connection. Butch for sure.


Common interests? Yes, more than important...crucial. To be able to talk about literature, or politics, religion/spirituality or sex for that matter! And...this is a big one for me at this point....I won't date people that aren't kinky anymore. I will never apologize for my kinky submissive pain slut nature ever again. ever.

Proximity? I'm flexible on that one...keeps it casual...no?

Sex?? um...without it...without lot's of it? n-o d-e-a-l

Laughs? there will always be lot's of laughter in my life...it would be lovely if s/he joined in

I fell in love with myself, i pried open my eyes and i saw the things that i was doing to create what i didn't want, i learned to take responsibility, i said to myself that i do not need to change who i am, i need to embrace who i am. that's what i did, and as to whether or not i am prepared? That remains to be seen doesn't it?

Do you have hard and fast rules in picking a mate? i suppose it would be wise to try and stay flexible and open to many options...but....i guess the kinky thing is hard and fast at this point, and that they have some concept of what it means to be self aware and present in each moment (all we can ever do is strive for those things...it's never perfect is it?)

Do you have a luck talasman that you take or wear on first dates? blushing...that is a story for those that get to know me better.

Hi all. Just wanted to say hi and I decided to remain on this list forever!!! I guess I'm not relationship material. That's ok for me seeing that i can't seem to be in a relationship past 2 1/2 years.
I can go down that path of " what's wrong with me? " but I wont. It's just not meant to be. I'm 45 and to old to go down that road of breakups again.
