The weather hasnt been good , have needed , we had some lovely sunshine the weekend but i was too exhausted to get out in it sadly...been doing overtime this last week , but i do log into chat when im home for an hour most mornings , love to catch up with all the lovely chatroom peeps *blows a kiss*
One more week of the overtime then ill be back to normal hours i think, so hopefully ill be around more to catch up on the board , feel like im missing out *giggles*

Zimmy, when in Chicago? I was raised in the northern suburbs. Ya gotta be careful when roaming Chicago at night, hell, daytime too. There was a lovely little woman's only bar on Irving Park Road called the Lost and Found, I used to go there alot with friends. And there was a large one in the northwesten suburbs called the Rainbow Lounge, don't know if it still open. Check out Chicago Gay bars in google, and stay away from Broadway Ave (? Street?)..it is a real rough neck of town with hookers that will lay on the hood of your car if you stop for a traffic light.There was a cute woman's only bar on Broadway at one time called The Lady Bug..also don't know if it is still there. It's been more than 20 years since I lived there, alot can change, but I'll bet the Lost and Found still exists. It was the oldest gay bar, let alone lesbian bar, in the city..last I heard it was over 80 years old. Problem is tho, no sign outside, ya had to know which door then rang the bell. They checked you out from a peephole like the old fashioned speakeasies and if you were female, they would let you in. Locals call it the menopause bar tho, the crowd is usually 40s on up. Juke isn't too loud, small dance floor, good company, good pool table, and at holidays they put out a terrific buffet of homemade foods.

Hope you all are having a good day so far. My mood is as blue as the sky outside today. Not sure why, but it is. I was supposed to be off tomorrow from the bookstore, but the school came by yesterday to inform me, that since it is their national open house, I need to be open. So now I get to work from 10am to 3pm there and 7pm to 1130pm at my part time job with Sunday off. I am hoping they let me hire someone to help me out, I cannot keep working 50 - 60 hours a week at the bookstore. I am to tired to call my mother.

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you all are having a good day so far. My mood is as blue as the sky outside today. Not sure why, but it is. I was supposed to be off tomorrow from the bookstore, but the school came by yesterday to inform me, that since it is their national open house, I need to be open. So now I get to work from 10am to 3pm there and 7pm to 1130pm at my part time job with Sunday off. I am hoping they let me hire someone to help me out, I cannot keep working 50 - 60 hours a week at the bookstore. I am to tired to call my mother.
