As a butch lesbian I have to say that reading these things completely makes me smile. I'm sure its the same for femmes. When I wake up in the morning I make sure I look my best before I leave the house weither its to go to work or out. I always sniff my shirt to make sure I smell good. So to know that those things we worry about are appreciated by others makes you feel good. Its an amazing feeling knowing that someone loves things that are apart of you. i do like some others thank you very much for being open and honest about what you enjoy about us. I have to say that I can't think of anything that I dont enjoy about a femme woman.
Ps- about the men thinking they have to act bigger than they are around certain individuals. I bounce at a strip club and sometimes when men walk through the door they do that and they act retarded. I just smile and say " hey guys how are you, have a wonderful evening" and I make sure to say goodbye to them. We were leaving the store this morning, and as usual I was pushing the cart out of the store and Soren was walking just ahead of the cart, like the point man, and i was drawn to the gentle swagger of hys shoulders and hips as hy moved gracefully through the store towards the exit. A better question is what DON'T I like about the butches? There isn't much. I am attracted to butches for much the same reason I am told femmes are. The main difference being that I guess I am am sposed to, or actualy do possess the same qualities.
There is something about the give and take, the undercurrents that flow. The equality that is unspoken, but respected and a thing of beauty. I love that the fact I am shy, gentle, and romantic is a shock, and once accepted, one of the things that is loved most about me. That I don't have to be the agressor, or "man" in the relationship. I even love that we can shop for and share the same clothing, in a non creepy way of course.
That about sum it up? dunno, but for now it will do.
