It snowed all day yesterday but just kept melting, overnight though it accumulated...sigh...off to work i go. Somehow i can't imagine any tourists are going to want to go shopping in this depressing weather.

Hi, Everyone! Well, I"m back! I've been busy with work, volunteering and a play so I haven't been on b-f in quite a long time. I'm volunteering to hold babies at a local hospital. It's fantastic. The only problem is I hate to leave!

I'm also now in rehearsal for a play, "Camille," a very gay & transgender campy spoof of the old Greta Garbo movie. I play a mid-19th century French floozy. Since I'm pure as the driven snow, all my thespian skills are required! (The play is in 2 weeks at 440 Proctors--it's Memorial Day weekend and the weekend after.)

I just wanted to pop in and say, "hi," since I haven't seen anyone is so long. Hope everyone is doing well and hope to see you soon!

    Smile RiverPride - Catskill

Well, Daddy and I went to RiverPride at The Point Saturday. I think the rain kept many away. We were glad to be there supporting the celebration, but we felt like the performers were playing just for us! (Kind of nice, kind of lonely!)

We were both looking forward to hearing Nedra, but things wound down with the rain interfering as it did. Did she play at Doubles instead?

We stuck it out until the pavilion/grandstand shut down.

    Did anyone else attend?

What events in the area are on the calendar next?

    Best to all...

Wink Anyone from the Capital District around here?

Hello everyone. My name is Eric and I am a FTM seeking my femme counterpart. Maybe you will be here on this list!

Here is a little more about me: I am thirty-one years old, employed and live in Upstate New York. I have been on T for five years and pass 100% of the time as male in RL. I am an active outdoorsman living in a small rural community in upstate New York. Keeping that in mind I love being out in nature by walking, running, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, marksmanship and archery. I believe that chivalry is not dead. Overall, I am a pretty accepting and laid back guy who enjoys the company of a variety of people. I like dogs as well as cats and consider myself to be very animal friendly. I am good with both animals and children. As far as entertainment is concerned, I enjoy most music and I like all types of movies and cinema. I am funny, kind, caring and intelligent with a good dose of compassion mixed in. On the weekends, I like to attend concerts, plays and outdoor festivals. Also, I enjoy being a homebody by cooking, BBQ-ing and just relaxing in the comforts of home. Plus, I enjoy a good glass of wine and a cigar every so often with the right person. I moved to New York in the past year and I am looking for friends, companions and activity partners in and around the Albany area.

I am a reluctant resident of upstate NY. I've lived here my whole life. I would rather be living on Barefoot beach in Fl, Santa Monica, CA or well.....anywhere there is no snow, women walk around half dressed year round and no snow. Wait did I already say that??
    lol.

From one reluctant to another, I hear that! Though, I much prefer the rain - no snow, not a lot of heat. Just me though. However, I was in CA in December and OMG gorgeous sunnnn and bearable heat

I did love CA....but as I was driving thru the ridiculous traffic (it took two hours to go FOUR miles in LA) I realized that an earthquake when you're stuck under an overpass would really suck. I am so damn picky. I want 70 -76 degrees with sun, a nice breeze year round, no snow EVER, not even sleet....no earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons or tsunami's.....the occasional thunderstorm is fine for romance sake - but that's it.

Two hours? Four miles? Good griefffff. All that sounds good... adding no erupting volcanoes, especially the ones that can cause a tsunami (thank youuu Washington!)

We got the same environment in mind

As someone who has a (silly) dream of wanting to work/be a part of an animal sanctuary/rescuing group... I understand the working-with-animals aspect

Well, I chose this place because I grew up here. I moved back to Upstate after many years of living in Mass, Boston, NYC and DC. Mainly to care for ailing family members. But, also to kick start my transition. And that is going splendidly btw.
