Thank you M'Lady but heaven comes at a price, it is 12 miles to a store of any kind and 50 to the nearest Mall.... I suspect that has something to do with it being difficult to find a Femme that would have meIt's long distance to call in a pizza order and a 30 minute one way drive to pick it up... Has anyone ever met thru this venu? Really? I have had such terrible luck this way, I have a trusting nature, and I thought I could extrapolate the truth hidden in the tangle of words thru e-mail and forums communication, but there is so many with hidden agendas, mostly people that either just broke up and are looking for a new thing to occupy themselves till they get it together, or they real you in, blaa blaa blaa, you start to kick it up a notch then find out they have been cavorting around with others on line, and I guess my real question is, if you meet someone, on line, and you start up the beginings of something, make plans, midnight phone calls, texting all day long, being connected, and you find out there is all this other energy swirling around with this person and others on line, then they tell you that their on line adventures don't matter, they are just "talking". Well it works both ways. To me I never forget that there is an actual human being on the other side of these words, with a life, and feelings, and I think that is something that is all too often forgotton. People just are not here for the amusement of it all, but some feel that it is ok to be so hurtful on line.

While I have certainly had bad luck lately for me there isn't really any other option to meet someone. I am in a very remote area, in a tiny town mid bible belt. Sure I could drive 60 miles to go to a bar but the kind of woman I want is not likely to be found in a bar very often.
As for other energies, I've been criticized for it and some think it means I get too serious but as soon as it gets to the daily e-mail and IM stage I turn off my online profiles. I only flirt with one Lady at a time. I feel like she deserves my undivided attention until we determine if there is enough compatiblity to meet and I do not turn them back on until I am sure it wouldn't work out.
But then I have recently been called a straight laced old stick in the mud so....

We especially(IMHO)believe, that within the small and very fringe community we choose to be in, should be a model for good judgement and moral ethics to each other at least, (if extending it to the rest of humanity is just too much) LOL

Not to trash talk the last person I dated, we were at the girlfriend stage and the whole time she was looking for her next one, still fliritng with others online at the same time. no offense, but I think thats kinda tacky..Sometimes I just find it hard to think that Im going to kind someone with manners and can treat a women right in this big, unfriendly city, in which I live. People just don't care about each other anymore.

Southern gentleman here and I was raised to respect everyone until they give me reason not to. I thought I was the only one who did that same thing Summit. I've been criticized for it and called old fashioned but it's me and I can't nor want to change it. If I'm talking to someone and we are interested in each other then I feel it is disrespectful to be flirting all over the place with others. When I am interested in someone I give them my total attention and as it is well known here, I'm a huge flirt unless I am interested in someone then it stops. I'm proud of that reputation of being a true southern gentleman. I am looking for a femme who feels the same way but have found they are very rare indeed.

Thank you all for the compliments on my behavior, I can't really give Mom that much credit though as I was always taggin' along behind Dad and my uncles. I had a large extended family of Southern Gentlemen to watch growing up and they taught me much more than just how to build houses and work on pick up trucks
Entycing my leaves are beggining to change too and it is now officially hard hat season on my land... I have 13 black walnut trees just in the yard and I don't dare try and mow the back without wearing a hard hat to keep from being knocked out.

OMG ((Girlie))The perosn I was referencing that cheated on line while dating me was from St Louis!! Yikess and funny sort of. ya know I often wonder the same thing. why are some of us still single and I can say honestly for me, its because I pick the same type of boi all the time and it never works out, that and where I live isn't conducive to butch/femme dynamics. all I hear when I go out is how a straight girl is in the bar/ I'm really not a bar fly, but theres not alot to do here for lesbains besides the bar..and I'm not going to change for anyone. ~Hi everyone hope your having a good start to your week. Went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend picked out some pumpkins and took a hayride through the fall foliage it was beautiful! I can't hardly believe we are already into October and some 80 days to Christmas (UGH). Anyways have a great week everbody
