Entycing I think it's a wonderful idea for the butches to cook for us but Jess has got to be left out of that group. I'm sure we can find other things for him to do though.

We used to tease Jess about being on a first name basis with the fire department because of his cooking.

I Live , love and work in "the Planned Comunity" of Irvine... the Yuppie Stepford Community..

And you left this Utopia. Went to McKenna's at the Bay by Limo for a birthday bash last weekend with a gangle of friends. Going to The Grove in Anaheim to see an entertainer next week, and .... still own 1/2 a house ( north/south lol) with an Ex near Disneyland.

Being a recent bachelor after being cared for by great femme's and a Mom wwho told me to go outside and play witht the girls, leaves me bankrupt in the kitchen.. I bought great dishes and a microwave though, and invite all teh girls over to cook...except, I forgot to buy a stove (someone keeps reminding me she will cook if I get one, so.. I AM looking into it). A stove will just be a curiosity for my 2 cats to stare at otherwise...

^5 On that one. I let our local GLBT use my grill for a member cookout, but I told them someone else would have to cook unless they want their picnic to look like something out of the Jonestown tragedy.

    What I wouldn't give...

for fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob topped with about three helpings of rhubarb Pie. Honey, I make the gravy in the house,....excellent...chicken, turkey, beef, hamburger, pork...I'm an ace at it.
So anytime you call me, its a call for Buck Crocker...with apron and all.

Sorry I have been in absent lately. I've been trying to adjust to the new schedule and new job. I'm not used to working these hours and ended up coming down with a head cold my first week there. In fact I still have a minor trace of it. It also totally disrupted my sleep patterns Friday night. I didn't sleep at all that night. I was up Fri. morning at 8AM, worked from 2-7PM, went to bed at 11PM. At 4:30AM Sat. morning I was still awake. I had to work from 8AM until 4PM. After that I went home, crashed sort of for about an hour, then got up, ate and got ready to go to the club with Handsome, Zebra and my friend Ana. We made a somewhat early night of it, but I still didn't get to bed until 1:30AM. Yesterday I was up by 8AM still but was pretty much toast all day. I had started with a sore throat Weds. and it had developed into a head cold by Sat. So I spent the day napping off and on and being generally useless. I feel better somewhat today.

The new job is going ok. Pretty slow at first. I have to learn how they do things there, the product line they carry etc. And the owners have been learning my abilities. It's been a mix of watching, doing practice facials on their family and co-workers and showing them my massage talents, etc. I've also been learning how to use the waxing products they have, which are totally different from what we had in school. But it's mostly going ok.

The owners learned I was trans before I even went for the interview. They'd suspected from a phone message I'd left (because of my voice) and they confirmed it when they called my school to find out what sort of impression they had of me there. They hadn't brought it up to me though. I found out from the nail tech while she was giving me a pedicure (so I could learn how to do them). And even though the nail tech knew, she'd forgotten. When she was doing my pedicure, she noticed the broken capillaries on my ankle and asked if they came from when I had my kids! We talked and everyone seems ot be fine with my being trans. it's a non-issue. Which is all I want. She did make one comment that made me smile. She said she'd told her boyfriend about me and said I had "an ass you wouldn't believe!" She was certain I had ot have had butt implants. She couldn't believe my junk in the trunk is natural. So time will tell how well things will go here. I'm glad to see everyone else is doing well

I'm glad to see everyone else is doing well
wow, that's awesome that the people you work with are so accepting.

i've never been out as trans at work. which is kind of a good thing i guess now because i feel like i'm going through some major gender issues. questioning everything that i thought i knew about myself. its a very confusing time for me right now, but i'm sure everything will work itself out in the end. i hope so.

I have been exceptionally fortunate. When I transitioned I had been with the company for 20 years. Over the course of the 4 years that followed I found accpetance and support by and large. In fact after I left, I received some supportive and positive e-mails form people that I really did not interact with to any great extent. At the very least I believe I made it easier for any other trans people my former co-workers might encounter in the future. When I started school there was some initial concern about how well I might mesh with the rest fo the students and clients of the public clinic. I had the support of the school's administration but I was a big unknown. Most of the students and clients were str8 women. But again I found a huge degree of support and acceptance among my peers. Now with the new job I am once more blessed with a good level of acceptance. I have to say I am one very lucky trannie. Especially when you consider I live my life very openly and do not keep it a secret.

it's really tough for me, being so secretive about everything. i really don't feel like i fit in anywhere. ftm's brush me off because i don't want to physically transition other than chest surgery, dykes say i'm too male for them...i guess the only place i feel comfortable is here...which is sad.
