I am new to b-f but the people in this thread are very supportive from what I have seen. While the hurting will linger, friendship is a good salve. Lean on us if you need to.

To me it is not the being single that hurts initially but the getting over the pains of the relationship. The hurt goes away for me as I make sense of it. Then there are some things that just do not make sense no matter how hard I try to figure those things out.

I am tired of being hurt and I know some of the issues lay with me. I am learning and using this time to grow in myself and find more of myself. Please feel free to vent here and take care of you. Be gentle with yourself.

I get to work for 5 days

The Temp agency has an assignment for me and I am happy. I need the money really bad. I am getting too much into the habit of writing rubber checks to cover bills and food stuff

This will help a lot. Decent pay and basically 40 hours of work time. Tuesday to Friday and then on Monday. They should be able to place me more now too.

Think happy thoughts for me through the days. It has been a long time since I did a 40 hour work week. (I am on disability and usually only do part time stuff.)

Sometimes it's seems easier to dote on ya'll when ya can't do anything but lay on the couch and snuggle........Ok , I just reread that and it's all me and how I would take care of my sweetie..........sorry, going for a cup of coffee.

It occurs to me as I go through the posts in this thread that meeting someone who is availabel all comes down to timing and getting noticed by one another. It's like being at a dance but there is a power outage and you can't see anyone. Okay, bad example but I think I made my point...it's really hard finding each other.

The single sites do not seem to work very well and I can't see spending over $1,000 annually to purchase a membership with the 'guarenteed' matchmaker sites.

We have plenty of sunshine, wish I could bottle it and send it along. We finally got some rain yesterda morning, hope we get some more. The fires are starting to get really bad and the ponds here are all down 3 or 4 feet.
