i bet they do...ther is a state park near here called catoctin state park that has a great road for riding.....it winds thru the mountins...where camp david is........it has a stream running along the side of it...white dogwoods in amongst the tress...my son says it would make a great road for a bike.....

This talk of riding and grilling and nature reminds me that I am soooooooooo looking forward to being in California because I will be so close to the water. I miss it a lot. Having grown up in northern Michigan I was surrounded by big bodies of water a lot of the time. I miss the smell and feel of water in the air (yes, the ocean will be different) but I am looking forward to being able to go sit on a beach and watch the waves rush in and out and let my feelings go into the water.....

Sorry all this is probably more fitting for one of the I think threads but it was stirred up here so thought I would share.

well it is warm enough now, and the nights are longer so I might actually start taking some sunset rides, maybe even some moonlight rides too

well you probably can't hear it over the motor....but you can pull off can't you....and sit a apell...........whe my ex and i used to go to rehoboth......when we got withing nose range of the beach...i would put the window down and practically hang my head out like a dog....lol.......she always got a tickle out of the fact that i acted like an excited little kid...when we went.....

Yeah, I do that...Just seeing it helps me hear the pacific as I remember it. The gulf does not seem to have the waves. I could sit there all night.

that would be wonderful...i am thinking camping at cape henlopen state park this year...its cheaper.......and i will probalby be able to go sit on the beach at night...public beaches you have to be off by a certain time........never been to florida do you have to be off the beach at a certain time......

I do not know. Most are closed to parking, but I have been out at 1 or 2 in the morning, it is very peaceful then, my favorite time.

i agree completely...although me myself would never have the guts to be out that late by my myself.....but i do get up and go out by myself in the moring........in rehoboth there is a small boardwalk...and being a big retirement area..ther are always plenty of elderly couples walking the boardwalk its very sweet........so i take my towel and i go out and sit in the moring...cuz its fresh...and quiet.....and the beach is empty.....time forme to think and reflect......when we took my daughter the one time ...her nad i walked the beach at sunrise it was very like a commercial.....she said we had a good giggle.........

why would you be afraid of little ole me............i wouldnt be afrad of walking the beach at two in the morning if i had a protector walking along side.........generally its relatively safe at rehoboth .....i have been going 4 years and have only heard of one incident...its generally very friendly........and safe.....
