Everyone being ok (although banged up and broken bones is bad) is the most important thing for sure. I am sorry for the trauma and wish all a speedy recovery. i don't know if it's best to be off your feet and rest, or be walking around so you don't get too sore. Hang in there!!

That is so true Blis..i could have been so much worse.. the mind does strange things when something so traumatic happens..I am going to go to bed..and moving around is much better otherwise you just stove up and hurt longer..thanks for the support..

Thank you very much Taz..I couldn't sleep, seems like every time I try to sleep the accident starts playing over in my mind..

I am doing ok, I think the psychological side of it is going to take a while..

hey Whisper....sorry to hear about your accident. I am glad you are ok.

Yeah...I do Therapeutic Equine Activities with my kids...I am a children's therapist. I have a wild mustang, a miniature horse, an appaloosa and am trying to find one more to finish off the herd...I use to raise draft horses and will be raising the miniature horses this summer once I get more fencing up!

I have lost more relationships over my horses and my kid...I am going to come up with a check list...so I can mark off things that are important to me...

anyone have a "checklist"?

Thanks Charming..Therapeutic Equine work is awesome..Horses are great for confidence and working muscles, learning balance...and I love mini's..I used to breed my Morgan...and I love Appys, Have had paints and 1/2 Arabs..

Okay, so I signed on this morning and sent a couple of PMs and composed a message right? Well I hit submit and my browser gave me an error message. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So I figured out I lost my connection so when it came back up, I composed another message and before I hit submit I cut and pasted the message cuz I didn't want to lose it again. Well I hit submit and Poof another page cannot be found - lost connection.

I guess DSL is down in various areas in 3 states for SBC/AT&T. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate them so much lately. Anyway.... you all are sooooooooo fortunate because I copied my earlier message to save just to post for you all.....

I so need a life. I am on dial up now Sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww stuff compared to the DSL I am used to you know?

Anyway here is the message from this morning (oh say 8 or 9 hours later)....

Good Morning all. I had a beautiful well thought out post to you all and I lost my DSL signal and lost my post So let's try again.

Morning all. My doctor's appointment yesterday went well. Tests should be back in a few days and we shall see what to do from there. I have NOT gained weight which has been a fear for the last couple of months so I was majorly happy about that. I managed in the last 2 years to lose over 70 pounds and I dread gaining it back. My eating has been horrid lately and I thought I had gained about 10 pounds but yayayayayayayayayay I haven't. *typical femme stuff huh bois?* Now, anyone know what to do to get my blood pressure under control? 170/98 is a BIT HIGH!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEK

Wolfy, sorry I didn't come in and say hello last night. A good friend who has been super busy the last 2 weeks was online and we chatted for quite a bit. It was nice to talk with her for awhile. I have missed her lots and lots. I hope you had a good evening.

Welcome CharmingAcres. A children's therapist and equine therapy is great. You must find your work very rewarding. I am petrified of horses so I say at a distance because I know my fear just makes them nervous but I love to look at them and I know the work they can do with children with disabilities and such is amazing. I look forward to hearing more about your horses over time.

wow...what a sweet sweet welcome from everyone! I have so been missing a sense of community. I have been in a couple relationships the past decade and been busy with farming and work so I really lost track of my lesbian community. Since I live out in the sticks, and know only one lesbian in this new town (moved here in December from Ohio) I am sorta lost...but thats ok since I tend to be very much a loner. Very home and hearth bound..which works real well when I am in a relationshiop but makes it very hard to find people to date!

I think the way you all check in just to say hello, good morning, happy hump day, be well, worried about you...thinking of you...etc...is so endearing...I hope to find a place amongst you...

Thanks WolfyOne for the comments. My doctors think I am having some hormonal troubles so they are doing my levels (estrogen, FSH and believe it or not testosterone - LOL). We shall see from there what we will do. My blood pressure sky rocketed again today *sigh* Not a good thing. But it explains why I am so tired I think.
