One of my best buddies has a new baby, and unfortunately, I have only seen him recently on a ride to the airport...but my friend was laughing cause I got him a little bath toy, a football and was teaching him to throw...he can't even walk yet but is cute as hell!

I love living up north. I used to live in Michigan and Pennsylvania before moving back to Florida. I have also lived in Boston and I have traveled to James, North Dakota and Cherokee, North Carolina. The last time I saw my friend's little boy, was the day he was born. I recently saw a picture of him, and he is adorable. She is a Florida State fan, so for a late baby shower present, I sent her a three pack of FSU onesies. I am here if you ever want to talk.

My favorite place is Boston. When I am done training at my job, I am transferring back up to there. I grew up in Daytona Beach, so I do miss the beach as well, but I can drive back there when I get a chance.

Boston, huh?? You have peeked my curiosity about that. I've only been there once. And all I know is that my family is related to the gentleman who hung the light at the lighthouse for Paul Revere..you know the one if by land two if by sea....
Thursday was okay but have been spending most of my time filtering through family business stuff. Eventually, I hope it will all be done.
And as you said you can always drive back to the beach when you "get a chance" and I hope you do...just to stare out into the immense ocean is spectacular.

Oh yeah. I love it there and I cannot wait to move back there. Eleven years after moving back to Hell aka Florida, I can still tell you how to use the Subway and buses. I had a good Thursday, had my boss laughing at me and telling me I was no longer allowed to have a Vanilly Latte from Starbucks<the girl put sugar free syrup in it and I bounced>hehe.....I had a great Friday, got off from work at 130p and came home to watch movies with my roommate's cat, hehe..

You should give one of them a try. I like the Vanilla one, it isnt to sweet unless they put sugar free syrup in it. And they can make you hyper, I drink them more to boost my metabolism.

Zimmy, will have to try one of those latte things..I usually get the plain coffee there..esp if I am down south..cause anywhere one goes the coffee is so WEAK! ( maybe they have other flavours too?) Had to go to the Starbucks in NC cause we lost power, and could not make coffee and was so thankful we found one nearby.
BTW thanks for the corned beef and cabbage wish I could really have it..damn!

Your welcome for the Corned beef and Cabbage. There are several different flavors of Latte's. I like those better than regular coffee. You should try their Vanilla flavored regular coffee. Have you ever been to Pride here in Orlando? It is awesome and is held in a park in downtown with beautiful swans all over the place.

It is a lot of fun but have found in recent yrs it is sooo crowded with the great guys, but they take their shirts off and one has to wade through wet bodies, from the heat...YIKES! The swans sound cool though.

I went out yesterday and bought glasses before I got sick again from the antibiotics. Today, I went and got my hair cut, then came home to relax. Thought I had to work at my part time job tomorrow, but they gave me the day off to get better....That made my weekend...When you get the chance, you should come down. Several big companies sponsor the event and the gay community takes over downtown Orlando...Gay Days is ok, but I like Pride better. The first time I went to Disney for Gay Days, my friends had to pull me away from a gay man who was yelling obscenities at a young child. I nearly died.

It is down to my shoulders for the summer and it is layered. Pride here is in October, and you should try to come down if you can. The dentist put me on Erythromycin 500mg for an absess, which has really made me sick. I was finally able to eat today without feeling nauseated. What is wrong with you? I hope you are feeling better soon...I found oyster crackers, ginger ale and Perrier water helped me feel better. I also had Quaker oatmeal cereal dry and oatmeal breakfast cookies to eat.
As for my job, I work at the college I graduated from in 2006 as an assistant manager for the bookstore and I am contemplating on getting my Master's Degree in Accounting. I want to help put my nieces and nephews through college, so I am going to work my ass off to accomplish that. My oldest niece and nephew are honor roll students.

Sounds like a great haircut! I get frustrated sometimes after I get a cut and uh, oh, start doing some trimming myself..but people say it is not bad...I just like a lot of layers myself although I keep it real short..but my hair friend just does not get the concept of lots of layers although I have tried to explain. I guess if I want it done right, I will have to drive into NYC. lol
I truly hope you are feeling better...and that your toothache is subsiding.
I'm on Augmentin, sinus infection from all the stress, I guess, and also cause I have stayed with my sister who is finally getting the idea that being in dry heat is real bad for my head!
I think that is really cool that you want to put your nieces and nephews through
college..you are a "special Aunt!"
When I graduated college in 1996, as an "older" student, I was asked by my English professor to stay on and work as a tutor..I loved it and the students were really cool, ages from 20 to 86! It is really fun to work in a college atmosphere. (but have also found that if one does not use it, he can lose it!)
I wish you well should you choose to get a Master's in accounting..have a friend who went on to be a CPA, and she does quite well for herself.
Anyway, if you are feeling better I hope you get to go out and have some fun!!!

P.S. saw one of my best buddy's little baby boy, Jacob! Totally a cool, adorable guy.
She left him with me..and I tried everything to entertain him..he liked wearing my blue faced watch..but started to cry and I was freaking out..have no experience with babies..but have a feeling I am going to get a crash course very soon!
BTW..Pride in NY is in June..but Oct. sounds nice too!

Yesterday was my last day on my antibiotic, and I am glad....I am over feeling icky....Try some Zen tea from Starbucks, that help's me when I have a bad sinus headache. I had to set up the Excel spreadsheets for my boss at my part time job. I agree that if you dont use it, you will loose it. I love working in a college...I also love being able to talk to the students about the subjects that are taught. I cannot wait to get to start working on my Masters. How is your family doing?
