Good idea.
I was sitting at works yesterday pondering how I will spend three weeks vacation. I always have a hard time with one, so I never take more than a day at a time. While I was searching for fares to SF, CA, it dawned on me, I could just hop on the springer and ride up the east coast. I have never visited many of the coastal communities, it would be a fun trip. the problem is timing, how to miss the summer storm season.
I think I shall ponder it some more.

I cant even manage a simple road trip 45 minutes up the interstate right now

so omg.. your pondering of said road trip sounds just lovely.. what a way to spend a few weeks.. I envy you that trip.. the East Coast beaches are magnificent..

lol, you think 20 minutes to get ready is a long time? I think not, but packin the bike will take longer. have to really think what are necessities when packing for such a long trip. I travel light, just hope I can find a laundromat along the way

and yep.. it all comes down to what fits well in them saddle bags.. just dont forget the rain gear

I'd hate to see ya get stuck in the summer storms.. and we both know how sharp those dang raindrops tend to become at about 70mph

yes, the more I think on it the better it sounds....need to find a map....of course I will have to camp a lot, I do not know many people on the east coast. Have a friend near Durham, I think that is the only east coast person I know. Surely she would let me crash at her house for a night or two.

Im sure that your friend would love to have you.. and you know.. there's always stuff happening year round with the

groups.. you might find yourself in the very town where an event is going on at the same time.. might make for some added fun

Let's just say that this past week has been sort of a hell week for me. I think it's on it's way to getting better.not real sure and don't really care. I have however been enlightened and that alone puts a smile not only on my face but in my heart as well.

Oh my Oh My.... lol... I am a femme with a split reasoning with this.

On the first date NO WAY would I be late. I will be in enough of an emotional tizzy to even have to worry about making my date wait. Now after that there is a certain amount of fun in not being ready when the date arrives.

But usually I am very punctual with being ready on time and if I am not well the Butch would get a show cuz I would be a fluttering nervous wreck.
