Butch-Femme.com is one of the oldest and the largest dyke sites and the sheer size can be overwhelming! Take your time and read instructions carefully along the way. We've tried to make sure that each area of Butch-Femme.com is as easy as possible to navigate.

1. Read our TERMS OF SERVICE which were created to maintain our community online in a kind, supportive manner and to clearly explain what is allowed and what is not. Every new member agrees to uphold the Terms of Service when registering. Butch-Femme.com is monitored by the entire community at large, and we appreciate everyone's help in keeping Butch-Femme.com well-lit, fun for all, and friendly.. Please report offensive posts and make moderators aware when others violate the TOS. The TOS is located at the bottom of every page on the site.

2.REGISTRATION is free and will allow you to access all parts of Butch-Femme.com, including the galleries and the forums. After you register, you will receive an email for address confirmation.

Note: You must *click* the link in the confirmation email we send to you for your membership to be activated. Use your correct email address or this process won't work! If you are on AOL, the confirmation email might go to your spam or bulk folder. Once you've registered and finalized, you can log in and use all the resources.

3. MY B-F.COM is your User Control Panel giving you the opportunity to edit, and configure your membership, send and recieve instant messages, and update your profile info at Butch-Femme.com.

Note: You can change your user title and upload a custom icon after 30 forum posts. If you would like to be notified when someone replies to your post, you can "subscribe to thread" which is at the top of each post, or you can "edit options" in your profile to receive email notifications of replies, or to turn the subscriptions off.

4. SINGLE? Consider adding your personal ad to the 5,000+ profiles on www.ButchFemmeMatchmaker.com.

5. BROWSE the different channels for info, articles, and community resources. Check out our 30+ mailing lists, and sign up for your local FABU (Femmes and Butches United) tribe. Check out the famous Hot Tub chat room, add photos in the Galleries, and shop for cool stuph of interest to Butches and Femmes in the Gear Store.

6. Consider making a DONATION. Butch-Femme.com's server kicks out well over a million hits a day and we could use your help in keeping this beloved free community resource online.

7. The HELPDESK provides you with helpful technical info and answers to most of your questions in easy to follow directions. We ask that you check out the online hints before you contact technical support.
