Butch-Femme.com Photo Gallery Guidelines and FAQ

The Webmasters reserve the right to adjust the guidelines as needed. Your use of the Butch-Femme.com indicates that you have read and agreed to these guidelines.

Feel free to start a small personal gallery to share photos of yourself on Butch-Femme.com. Each member is given 1 meg of space, which can allow several photos. We ask that you resize each of your photos to 325 pixels by 325 pixels or smaller, which is about 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches in size. If you don't have a program that will allow you to resize photos, look for a free one at www.download.com. The photos HAVE to be jpeg or jpg format. PNG images will also work. GIF or .gif images will not work. You should set the resolution for your online photos to 72 dpi or less.

Butch-Femme.com is not a commercial site, (we have no banners, popups, or funding) so please use your common sense and don't clog up our server with pictures that aren't necessarily of interest to other Butches and Femmes, such as multiple pics of yourself, your transition journal, your pets, landscapes, vacations, etc. If you have more than a handful of photos to share, please post a few relevant pics on Butch-Femme.com's gallery, and then use the COMMENTS section in your personal B-F.com gallery to direct folks to a free gallery on Webshots.com where space is not limited. If you have held a large event associated with the web site, please do share all the pics in our gallery. Write to the Webmasters and we will do our best to allocate more space for official events.

Erotic poses are welcomed and appreciated, but please refrain from posting any hardcore nudity in your profile or in our gallery. Breasts and suggestive poses are acceptable but hardcore shots of genitalia, Butch cock, open buttocks, or sex acts are not. We do not pay to use age verification services, and our hosting company sets these rules and defines what is and isn't allowed. Also, many people access this site at work or in front of children at home, and we aren't interested in providing a porn site. If you post pics that violate the rules, your photos will be deleted. If you continue to post pornography as a dare, your account will be deleted. If you are unsure if an erotic photo is acceptable or not, please contact the webmaster.

As time goes on, it is likely that we are going to have to delete old photos to save space on the server. We reserve the right to resize photos, allocate less space to users, delete albums, or remove the Galleries program altogether if it begans to degrade the performance on the server.

Adding an Album to your gallery

You can go into your gallery and create an album for a particular set of photos. Go to your gallery and you will see an "Album Admin" link. Click on it to create a new album. You can make the album private or public. If you make it public everyone who is registered will be able to see the album. If you make it private only those you give the link to will be able to access it.

If you are uploading new photos then after you create your album click on the "Upload Photos" link. In the "Choose a Category" look for your album at the bottom of the list and select that category to upload your photos.

If you want to move photos already in your gallery to an album click on the photo you want to move and then the "Edit Photo" link. Go to the "Change Category" drop down menu and select your album. You will need to do this with each photo you want to put into your album.

Using the Gallery's Comment and Rating System

Please be kind and use your better judgement when making comments about user's photos. We will 86 your account if you make inappropriate and unkind comments. Even if you are trying to make a joke, please be sensitive to the feelings of others and remember that all we have in this arena is our words.
