Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I used to come on here all the time...
Anyway, I am from Grand Junction, Colorado and wondering if anyone else is from around here?

Boulder counts! It is a little far from Grand Junction but it does fall in the state of Colorado!
How is the Boulder "Butch/Femme" scene?? There isn't much of one here.
I got lucky and found a femme here. So I guess no matter where you are you can find what you are looking for as long as you look hard enough...sometimes it takes a frickin magnifying glass...LOL

I'm fairly new to this web site, and definitely new to the forums! What fun!
I live in Denver, though I lived in Grand Junction years ago.
Denver is a big city, but the B-F scene is not all that evident! :s

I have been in Denver for almost 2 years now and I first I didn't think the gay/les scene was evident either. I finally forced myself out and found some great bars and clubs. Message me if you want to go have some fun on the town! I'm out almost every weekend! (b)

I've been looking 2 reconnect w/ my old Colorado Springs Crew--anyhow if you're on this board --it's Jeff (the punk butch that wore a strapon 2 prideday, gave that speech topless during dykeMarch, and always hung out w/ Suzan, Raven, Nicky, Deb,...and all the others susposinly I was doing lol) anyhow if any of that craziness sound fimilar give me a cyber hug and im me..
I think 3 years has been way 2 long and I definately plan 2 make a visit probably w/ my g/f and w/ Nicky since also she moved 2 Fl and misses the CS homecrew.

I am in a suburb of Denver and don't do the bar scene. The few times I have gone out, it seems to just be all femmes or adrogynous.
I would love to just meet people to do things with!!

Hey ladies and gents, whatever be your pleasure.....I am here but in SW Colorado, living in Durango. You talk about absolutely no butch-femme scene here...there are just granola lesbians, which is fine, but it would be nice to have some B-F culture. Actually, Denver and even GJ seemed pretty happening to me compared to here. WE don't even have an "official" gay bar....except maybe El Rancho, if any of you know what I mean. Just checking in and saying hello.....

Arwen and ~femme~ are being modest here. They've been trying to arrange get-togethers for Colorado b/f's. and, from what I understand, the group has a lot of femmes... so butches would be more than welcome. ;)

We missed a couple of outings when we first moved here, the move was alot harder than we expected, which can only mean one thing. WE ARE OLD!!
We tried a couple times to meet up with femme. Kept missing each other. Now I don't see her online much.
We went to her fav. place on colfax and sumthin. It was cool, a lot like our hometown bar. But I'm trying to stay clear of bars. Too much trouble up in there! So a dinner get together would be cool for us now that we are finally settle in to CO.
Nice to "meet" y'all.

Hiya sullen! Both Arwen & ~femme~ have been a little quieter than usual... Arwen is writing/preparing a book for submission (Go Arwen!!)... and ~femme~ is recuperating from surgery.
The yahoo group listed above is currently planning both a dancing outing and a potluck picnic. Hop over to the group & add your 2 cents!

Hello there everyone!!! I've always wished that there was some sort of group for Butches & Femmes in Colorado. I'm glad to see that there is a yahoo group, which I just joined. (pending approval). In Memphis they have a group where they get together on a regular basis and go out and do things, or just hang out at someone's house. I live with my Butch, and we like taking trips up into the mountains, but we don't hang out at the bars anymore, so I feel like we're kind of isolated sometimes. It would be nice to get to know other people here in Colorado, and hopefully make some friends to get together with. There is so much to do in Denver, and it would be nice to have other like minded friends to have fun with.

The CO_butch_femme group has been pretty quiet lately.
I live with my girlfriend in Aurora. We spend a lot of time outdoors and try not to do the bar scene much, though its hard to meet people otherwise.

Our Fund Drive is slowing down! As we move through our third week of this fund drive donations have slowed down and we have not yet reached our goal. We no longer want to allow MizChris and DaddyRhon to pay another dime for this site out of their own pockets.
Some folks who have already donated are returning to donate again and while we appreciate that it also makes me feel guilty! If you have already donated we are NOT asking you to do more. You’ve done your share, we appreciate you more than words can say, and we only hope that you continue to spread the word.
