{{{{{{{Kai}}}}}}}}} you are the sweetest thing! My aunt just had to have her baby cat put to sleep yesterday. She was 4. They don't know what was wrong with her. The vet said she may have ate a poisonous frog. (they live in Fl) I would be sick if anything happened to my babies now.
As far as Chris, she has been on the job for 4 yrs BUT they are talking about shutting down some sites..that one included. She is talking about coming to check out some prison that is in Nashville...i think a federal one. *shrug* I dunno It will work out. I know it will!!

Back from lunch, it was quite nice, we sat out on the patio! SPRING IS HERE!!!

I have the same problem with lunch, I have found I hate to leave the property, if I am anywhere in the building, I get paged non-stop...its a visual thing I guess. Sometimes in the Spring, I just drive to the park and sit. Gotta get away from here!

Jess...I cried I was so happy and relieved. We got pretty close in the last few years...I mean not perfect but closer than we ever had been. Then after me and the ex broke up and Mom was really holding that against Madaid...it's been hard. And that's what I told her, that I hated being estranged from her. It was a short, but good conversation. And I am really counting my blessings today.

I feel really bad about your dog and the people not stopping. I had a doberman and he got hit. The people that hit him didn't stop, but the driver behind them was a vet. She called her husband and they took him to the vet's. I looked for him before work but there was no sign of him. Later that day she pulled up in my drive and told me. I about died. I rushed to the vet's and saw him before he died. I swore I would never have another dog with out a fenced back yard. Now, I've got the yard and my dog won't stay in it!!!!

Speaking of.... I found the spot where my little rascal dog has been getting out! Now, I just need to fix it. I have alot of lumber left over from my deck and I'm going to buy a saw and cut it to size. WEEKEND PROJECT!!! :)

Madaid - so how many toys have you bought for your new kitten? It seems that - for me anyway - when I get a new pet I always get new toys for them. My old Bear is so old she doesn't play with any now nor does she chew her bone. Now Vegas on the other hand loves her sqeeky toys.... and the bone... good knight! She loves it.

Hey Shark! I'm here. Been so busy with the trainees. Flogger still handy...lol I get to go spend next week in Atlanta with them before I turn them loose.

Saw the Passion of The Christ last night....a must see for everyone I think. Certainly trivializes all the crap going on in your life we think is so important. Also makes you think about how you treat the people you encounter in your everyday normal life. Aside from the graphic nature, it is a fabulously done film, cinematography was amazing. I hoep the hype and the controversy don't keep it from gettin it's just rewards.

I do wear contacts..however I use my glasses quite a bit ...my eyes get tired and need a break from contacts..where I work it CAN be tough wearing contacts at times..coz of all the box dust in the warehouse...but that could be coz my eyes are sensitive..

That aside...it has been obvious that I have not been wanted on this thread for some time; however, I come here anyway because I am a Tennessean (although not presently living in TN) and because I care very deeply for some of the people who post here regularly. Over time, I have come to respect many of you for your beliefs, your struggles, and your strengths. I have shared your losses and many of your triumphs.

I was told that the reason some of you had a problem with me was that you were protecting some of the "flowers" because they were so important to you. Although I still haven't figured out why the "flowers" needed protecting...I find it sadly ironic that now you choose to wound those same "flowers" as deeply as you have because of your hatred of Me. If you want to hate Me, then there is nothing that will stop you, but your choice to alienate, supposedly very important members of the group, is something that can only be seen as malevolent.

Don't worry SW I won't be attending any of the "festivities" on the weekend of the 20th even though I plan to be in town. Although I'm not quite sure how my mere presence at dinner (where I'd hoped to meet a few people) will ruin your birthday. I sincerely hope that you have a wonderful birthday.

Back from errands and paying the little dancers....so cute!

Im with Kai, I love this thread, I love everyone here, we share our lives with each other each day.....

Some things have been said on all sides that shouldnt have been....but it would mean so much to us all, if we could just get past it.

Recently, its become pretty stressful in here for a number of reasons...maybe we all need to really think about what we are saying and HOW we are saying it.

As it stands, it seems the flowers are pretty wilted right now...I deeply wish everyone, me included, would step back and think about what really matters here. Love, and acceptance, and peace. Flower Power!!!!

hello A/all hugs to Apoc and SW. well Ya'll can think of me i might be gettin 6 shots of botox in my lower back it has seemed usally they only do 3 series of trigger point injections and i had my 3 rd today the doc has brought up to me about the next step which is botox shots into the back it has been showing a good case study it works very well on this type of severe muscle strain i have in my lower back now we have the big mountain to climb it is a expensive treatment like for 100 mgs it cost 500 dollars and the doc said for my back he will need 200 mg's so 1,000 dollars, now that fight i guess will begin with the work comp ins to see if they will pay for it, so if they do i will get the shots if not he said we can continue on with trigger point injections every 2 weeks the botox has a long effectiveness time anywhere from 3 months to 6 months in duration so keepin fingers crossed that work comp will pay for it. it is to paralize the lower back muscles so the spasms and pain will stop and i will be able to be a better worker and maybe work a regular 8 hour shift, but this docotr also agreed that i need to get out of fast paced physical labor work all together. so 2 doc opinions on that. well will keep in touch more Apoc and SW and A/all have a great day ttyl A/all

I'm missing Madaid so much today. I have to say I've never been this happy and it's because of her love. I suppose it makes one thankful for what they have.

During that whole time of the ex from hell, I never even considered the thought that I could ever be this way. I'm finding myself and it's in no small part because of her. She went through a hell of her own, and now we are out on the other side, enjoying the happiness and love that were denied us before. It's a shame the ex's can't see this and continue to attempt to make things difficult for us. Eventually they will see this is how things are and nothing is going to change. Parts of our lives that now have led us to each other, where we belong...The joy of it all is no one has the ability to disrupt our lives, irregarless of how they may try.

Just one of those emotional moments I suppose...return now to your regularly scheduled program!

I would hope that conversations held in private could remain that way, but apparently that is not always the case. Even though they may be shared with the best of intentions it's still not right. I am saddened by the fact that it would seem people's comments have been embellished to make them more dramatic than they really were.

Knowing how most of the group feels about Cosmic, once firm plans had been made for His visit I then intended to feel each of you out and decide how much exposure to the group there would be, or maybe we should spend some one on one time with some of you. Some of you knew he was planning to come, some didn't. I guess I didn't think that was a big deal until we had made a decision. Apparently it was.

There are some very strong emotions tied to this mess, both good and bad, and you are each certainly entitled to feel how you wish. I certainly wouldn't presume to invalidate your feelings, but that also doesn't mean I understand them all either. Give me that right too, to feel the way I do, whether you agree or disagree. And if you don't understand and want to try then ask. I'll explain as best I can. I'll do the same. We certainly cannot begin to condemn each other for our feelings.

Hi everyone,

I am posting today concerning some of the recent events. I have maintained my distance from this thread as some of you noticed. A big part of that is due to the fact that I just didnt feel safe posting here like I used to and I've been emotionally drained. But, I do feel the need to speak my piece now.

The 'he said she said' crap can drive such a wedge between personal friends and in a community like this one. The sad thing is....it can cause you to not know what the truth is and what the truth isnt....who really did or said what....and whether there was malice involved or just misunderstandings. Everything can get so convoluted...and the sad part is...many times this sort of exchange leaves you with lots of doubts...especially on who you can really trust....and who really cares about you. *That* is part of the incredible sadness that I've felt over the past few days and as some of you closest to me know, its really hard for me to put on a 'happy face' when I am hurting.

In keeping with my belief that everyone should try to own their own shit, but of course, most people wont...admittedly, I willingly played a part in this game so I am partially to blame. It was a hard lesson learned.

Anyway, this is not a Jodi pity party...I felt the need to speak about "my feelings" and did so. But I do need to add one more thing.

I want to thank Cosmic for his last post. He has been respectful and has not posted a lot lately, but when he knew that 2 people he cared about were hurting, he risked the inevitable scrutiny over his intentions and posted. Thank you for caring Cosmic.

As I said to Kelle and I said to you sometimes all it takes is a phone call to clear things up.. I have kept My thoughts and views off the thread and wanted it to stay that way.....I said in the beginning that somebody was going to get hurt here ....I don't like to see My friends get hurt in anyway shape or form...I know that I cannot protect everyone from getting hurt ,I wish I could but I can't....That is why when I was asked by Kelle to please step back and I did ..I have sat back and watched while all this has been going on ...I have nothing to hide in here or out of here....My question was why would someone want to come around at this point when they where not the most wanted person to be around...But that wasn't for Me to answer..I would quess that some of us wonder why anyone would want to be put in a relationship with such drama to the point where it is driving a wedge between friends and the people involved.....That again is not for Me to answer.....I understand a polly relationship I was in one in My early 20's..But I was brought in only after the couple was sure they where both strong enough and loved each other to be able to handle this......It lasted almost 2 years ..I loved them both and remained good friends when it ended....I do not understand it when both relationships are new,look at the pain that has been going on , the drama , the he said she said ,etc etc.
What this boils down to is you have friends in here that care for you both...As big as this group is you are going to have several views on what people think and they are not all going to be good.I wish you ladies the best ......

I have been to Tabu twice. The 1st time i met Lila and Jen there.
The old gang from the ToolBox aka..Illusions hangs out there plus some of the younger crowd....then you have the hip upscale people from Tribe who come in for a while.

They have darts and one pool table,small dance floor kind of dark,this place is more like where you go for drinks to relax or just talk. They don't entertain here like they do at Lipstick

It's not as exciting as Lipstick but hey it will do, plus when you get this group together we create our own excitement....if we don't like it we can always go back to the old faithful.

Most people don't know what day of the dead is and they look at me with that deer in the headlite look when trying to explain.

Morning everone!

I'm glad to get out of the house for a while. I was having terrible troubles with my asthma last night. I went for a drive around 10 PM, and went to the ER for a breathing treatment. The ER was so crowded I decided against it and drove around for about an hour.

For my own health I really should get rid of the kitties, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I'm definitely not getting any more cats.

I have an appt to see my allergist today, so I'm going to talk to him about it. He'll probably give me prednazone.

So how was everyone's weekend?

Pupa has moved in, so we'll see if things have really changed or not.

Okay here is the deal...

All of the clubs are byob... so you need to decide ahead of time what you want to drink. The cover runs from 5 dollars to as much as 16 dollars (yes I know, shit!!) But if you consider how much you would spend at a bar drinking, it pretty much evens out.

As soon as we know for sure which club we are going to I will post it and give you better details. The club I usually go to is Club Platinium (old Cab) last time I went the cover was 10 dollars and 5 dollars for the bottle.

Mayor.... dont worry, i wont let them hurt you.... (too much!) lol

Dang! I almost started a fire in the kitchen and I wasn't even cooking!

I started my dishwasher and it didn't fill with water, but the heating element burned and I smelled it from the other room. I poured water from a gallon jug in there and it sizzled against the element :s Must have just been a fluke because it ran great after that! I'm really not wanting to buy another dishwasher too!

Jess- you have to put water in your dishwasher? I've never heard of that. Usually people run a water line to their dishwasher. lol Well, I'm glad you didn't burn it up. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well pal. I hope the meds work.

yea, you'd think I'd learn from others :s

It worked fine after that. I told pupa to watch if he starts the dishwasher for the same thing. Perhaps I should just take over the dishwashing duties.

This reminds me of the time my timing gear stuck on my washer and I ended up washing a load of towels for 5 hours. :s
