Ok.....damnit.....I was sleeping and was awakened by a sound coming out of the chimney beside the bed (the chimney used to have a pot belly stove for heat years ago). Theres a damn SQUIRREL in it! I don't know if he fell, or if he can get out. I'm assuming he can because squirrels are very resourceful and don't give up easy. He'll try like hell to get out if he can't.

SO Countessa, in the spring, Chad and I have a new project involving getting on the roof and putting a screen on the chimney. Start saving your dimes for the emergency room bill now.

We used to do this for birds that would get stuck in chimneys...get a long piece of cheap molding and some window screen material, loosely wrap the screen around the wood and staple it. Drop the whole mess down the chimney (this is why the molding has to be long) and wait..usually the squirrel or bird will be able to pull themselves out with the added help of the stick. Sometimes we'd attach a flashlight at the top too, animals will escape towards light. Some chimneys have tricky bends in them, and animals get trapped between the fireplace and the vent. Occasionally they fall out of the vent right into your house! A screen is a good idea! We would always install them after rescuing an animal!

Yes, we hate it here. We are planning to move back some time between March and August depending on how my promotion stuff works out. Leah has until August to complete her contract with AES, but if I get my promotion sooner then we might have the money to buy her out and get there sooner. Vandy is already all excited about possibly getting her back.

BY THE WAY.....I went to the Gyno today.....for an ultrasound, because I have been having issues. Welllll, the ultrasound came back wierd, so the doctor decided that she needed to do a biopsy. I have never in my life been forcibly dialated....and I never want to again. Holy Hell. :s

Believe me...I have the utmost respect for women who go through the pain of childbirth. But at least you are somewhat prepared for whats about to happen. I had NO idea when i got up this morning that I'd be forcibly dialated and a piece of flesh snipped out of my womb. Again I say....holy hell!!

It didn't have to hurt you.... there's topical lidocaine jelly she could have used to make the injection less painful, then you wouldn't have felt the dilitation, well not much more than pressure anyway. Sorry you had to go through that Dodgy, but Kyssme is right....better that than possibility of cancer....

OMG, Biopsies are the worst, I had one too with no pain killer. Surely there is something they can do to make biopsies easier. :@

Ummm yeah, my boss lost her f-ing mind yesterday and started screaming at me. So now my happy little third place has become a hostile work environment. :s So I have calls in to folks about transferring back to there ASAP as whatever...and get this...it is so bad that I am even looking at getting an Accounting job +o( because until I make Store Manager I won't have the hours and pay up there that I had down here.

So hopefully will be there soon.

I had some flurries here. Charlie wasn't the least bit interested in it & was ready to come back in as soon as she did what she needed to do. She's not a fan of the cold either. I love my dog.

Don't worry kyssme, once you learn the main drags you'll be zipping around town like nobody's business. There are still parts of town that confuse the hell out of me (Belle Meade really confuses me).

welp.... looks like my power cord.. has decided to work for a spell..... hope it holds off for a while before it poops out on me.....
im here in Murfreesboro TN.. just got done with a load..... that had me drive over 900 some miles from buffalo NY to Burmingham al..... hmmm hope thats spelled right... ha....i just couldn't refuse that...... $$
i slept thru new yrs eve... :( .. b ut thats ok...... had to finish my drive down west of Burmingham anyways..
Timbers could not make it to buffalo anyways....... due to a lot fo up coming snow
oh well.......
ya know..... i been thinking about a lot of u out there driving .. and hope that the roads keep u safe....... this winter.....
i just got all the winter grime off my truck this afternoon .. at a truck wash here....... but i know sometime soon i'll b up bk in that mess again all to soon.

I plan on making some change's in 2008 ..... in my life... lost my dad.... and then my sister all in less then 9 months from each other..... *sigh*.... makes a person do some serious thinking of things going on with in themselves.. anyways......

Ugh!! That's awful...and unexcusable. Sounds like a hostile work environment to me. Do you have some way of reporting her unprofessionalism?

Today...I walked out into the warehouse....and there was this guy receiving product in. His pants had fallen so low that the belt was underneath his butt. He was all bent over and all I saw was boxers. Im not even talking about seeing a little boxer....it was underneath his butt. *shudder* I walked over to the lead and said something to her and she said "oh he's been told before". I was livid and marched my covered arse into the office and told my boss that I didnt want to see his underwear...that that was offensive...and the next time I saw it I was going to HR and filing a formal complaint. I got him in such trouble. LOL. Seriously....He had a freaking belt on!! How hard is it to not lose your pants????

The hospital did not send him home yesterday. His Dr. there and his from Nashville, one his chemo Dr the other unsure are not on the same page..

Deuce's Mom is worn out. She had a hard time getting someone to stay with Richard last night so she could stay at the hospital..
