Jen, I'm glad to see you posting again! Must mean you are feeling a bit better! I wrote Ms Diva and offered our house for a party if she was interested. I was thinking something kinda low key..(I know the people who went to the Bash are partied out!) but I don't know what she has in mind. I'm actually off that weekend..wonder of all wonders!

It's quite a ways to Ann Arbor. My sister is having a hysterectomy and I am going way up to northern Minnesota to stay with her for a week to help her out. She has 4 boys, two are under 2 years old. I would hate a job driving too, ice scares me to death. Actually my job is cool and I live close and have my own office and stuff, I like the brainstorming and being around creative people.

Luvin - start up date is suppose to be 9/24. I've got training starting next Monday.

Rebel - The slippers & commute thing...exactly!!!! My new manager is trying to get approval to buy us all new slippers to celebrate.

I'll actually have more troubleshooting resources at my disposal working at home than I do in the office.

Less spent on food (and I can eat healthier at home than I can there for a whole lot less)
I can grab a smoke between calls

We had such a wonderful time last night, I just can't tell you how great it was to see everyone again (or for the first time, Miss Diva!).

Fabulous food, friends and conversations. Honey & Max, it was a great to recognize you and remember meeting you before. You are very gracious and lovely hosts. Max, that Pina Colada was the best I've ever had. No kidding. Honey, the gifts are great! I got a good rub down last night when we got home! (6) We are seeing if we can rearrange schedules to make the next one!

Miss Diva, you were a blast. I can't wait to see the photos uploaded!

Sorry it didn't work out with the kitties. The shelter has had to really stiffen up on the admissons because of several outbrakes of parvo in the puppy room. Let me know if I can help out.
