I just heard on the news that eHarmony will provide same sex dating matches as part of a settlement in a New Jersey lawsuit.

Just I would open this up for discussion....

When it comes to public places, I definitely think everyone should be welcomed, regardless of race, creed, sexuality or gender. However - eHarmony is a paid personals site and, as such, don't they have a right to service whomever they choose? There are options out there, like Chemistry.Com, who use the same style of personality profiles to match prospective partners and do so willingly, understanding the benefits of an open-minded marketing strategy.

I just can't see folks giving money to a company that didn't want them in the first place - it's just putting $ in the pockets of a fundamentalist ceo and only hurting us in the long run.

I don't know...I guess I just believe that private clubs do have the right to be selective about who they give membership to, regardless of whether or not I agree with it.

I must say I agree with you on this.I do believe e-harmony os also faith based,,if it was a free site id say go for it..but again,,you do apply for memebership and as with any club,,they can reject or accept you,and who know's,,site's like this may support prop 8

Neil Clark Warren is buddies with Dobson of Focus on the Family.
We all know how they feel.

The next step is that they'll have to put a straight section on PlanetOut and Gay.com.

This whole thing makes me 8-)

Quoted for truth. In what universe does this end well?
