Slut Night Montreal

Femmeinterrupted and i have been juggling the idea of putting on a " Slut Night " or some version of it. This past week as seen this concept begin to flourish with the addition of a few party grrls from McGill U. in Montreal.

So far, we are still at the planning and recruiting part of it all but will soon meet to brainstorm on how to get some sponsors, a space and so on.

If all works out, we'll do a smaller one this month ( end of november ) and a bigger one around June 2007... who knows where we'll go with this, lol.(d)

When a date as been settled and tickets made available, i'll let everyone know how to get a hold of some.;)

Just in time because i'm having a dress made for me and i took it from a retro catalogue ... can anyone say, '50's, lol.

I figured that i really wanted to attend such a party but i knew i couldn't really afford going out of town at present so why not see if i couldn't make one happen in my backyard. I wish that as many B/fer's from all over Canada and elsewhere show up to enjoy this first in Montreal.

I can already see it; Slut Nights throughout Canadian cities all throught the year, hehheh.;)

Hey all,

Well i just got back from a wonderfully pleasant meeting with Tamara and Darksnow. We came to the conclusion that " Slut Night " will have to be a smaller version and that we'll want to do it for end of november 2006... yes, in a few weeks.

Tamara will compose a letter to give to potential sponsors and i will give all my exhaustive knowledge of the B/f dynamic and why it would be a good thing to sponsor our community for this event, lol.

Darksnow is taking responsibility for the hall decoration and some advertizing. We already have 2 halls in sight so this is good. We will get the tickets printed or simply charge the entrance fee at the door ( whatever we have time for , lol ).

So, tentatively, we are looking at november 24... a friday. We will follow the B/f.com concept of having the Femmes and Butches dress up or down ( hehheh ) and to celebrate our community. It is my hope that many of you will want to come to Montreal and share in this first ever " Slut Night " in this neck of the woods.

Hi,
We are looking for a female D.J. with her own equipement for our dance/party/event on january 13th. Will pay after ticket sales completed.

All females and woman id'd candidates are welcomed as well as other performers ( drag-kings, burlesque, dancers, etc,. ) interested in participating in this event. This will be a first of what is hoped to become a regular event ( 2 -4 times a year ).

It is preferable that you be in the Montreal area but if you,re willing to travel at own expense, then contact me.

Hi Allana,

Montreal's B/F Party came and went. It was fun but on a small scale ( 30-40 people ). I am working on putting together a bigger * Slut Night * in Toronto around the time of the Dyke March in june.
