I do
Several, in fact. Throughout the year, I have acted like an ass a couple of times.
With the year coming to a close, I would like to acknowledge my mistakes. To try and rectify my wrong doings with a couple of public apologies.
I am going to make a separate post for each person I feel I have wronged.
And hope they accept my apology (f)
Do you have someone here or in r/t that you owe an apolgy to?
Post it here, it just might feel cleansing.
Let's give it a try......

Great thread, Pam!!
It takes a hell of a person to admit they are wrong about something and an even bigger person to apologize. Good luck to you in your cleansing. So far, I can't think of anyone I need to apologize to but will definitely keep this in mind if/when the time comes.

Dear Tori
I know you don't know me. But I am sure you remember the mean PM I fired off to you.
You had disagreed with me on an anti hunting thread. I guess I took it personal, because I wrote you a horrible PM.
I have regretted that PM ever since.
From what I see of you around this place, you are obviously a great person.
I had no right to send you that note.
My cheeks turn red everytime I see your posts now, or see you online.
You may have forgotten all about it, in fact I hope you have.
But I feel I owe you a HUGE apology. (f)

exactly how you feel. There have been times when I have acted like a total ass myself. I carry myself most times as a total gentlemyn. Yet, there were times when I just let my emotions get the best of me and instead of biting my gentlemyn lip I let it fly and told a couple of people exactly how I felt...using a lengthly message or some very short words mixed in with the italian salute.
I have tried to contact one person but no response...it's the new year we are all heading into so maybe last years ass of the moment can be reflected on so that it doesn't occur in the new year...plastic big red lips may help as well...keeps the smile and you can chew on them for as long as you want.

Dear Loyal_Butch,
When you were a newbie around here, I mistakenly thought you were a banned Butch member who had basically been terrorizing me.
A friend and I confronted you, and also discussed you with one of your friends.
I want to tell you that I was so wrong about you. And I am very, very sorry.
You totally did not deserve those accusations. They were uncalled for. They were harsh, and they were awful. And most of all, they were UNTRUE.
I can just imagine how it must have made you feel, to be wrongly accused like that.
I am sooooo sorry, from the bottom of my heart, Loyal.
You are one of the good ones, its obvious.
I apologize for being wrong about you. For thinking untrue things about you.

I owe an apology to several people here with whom, since TBB and I got together, I've failed to keep in touch. It's natural when two people get together that they tend to focus on each other. That doesn't excuse, however, their neglecting to keep in touch with their friends, no matter how new, old, close or far those friends may be.
So, Jay, Becky, Jess, and Daphne, my wonderful companions and partners in crime from Las Vegas who, both individually and collectively gave me so many happy memories, I apologize one, for not writing a few lines now and then and two, for not making time for a 'grand reunion' in Nola (though I'm sure you'll forgive me, bearing in mind the circumstances); you're all in my thoughts, especially at this time of the year when friends and family seem more important than ever, and just thinking about you, each of you, will always, always make me smile.
Happy Christmas everyone.

Dear Chey,
I am sorry I was such a little bitch to you.
It was uncalled for.
Just because I didnt like the way you refered to womens breasts, did not give me the right to be so rude to you.
I aplogize for the mean spirited remark I made to you offlist.
I wish the best for you and your new love.

Dear THX...
I am sorry that I jumped down your throat under the false assumption that you were someone else. That was so wrong of me.
I had no right to assume you were a banned member sneaking back in.
Even if I thought that, I should have asked you before publicly spouting my incorrect information. :$
I aplogize for acting like a childish asshole......

Nah, its not nice little sis...
Its just to remind myself not to ever act impulsivley.
And to try and apologize to those who "got in the way" of my little bitch-ass attitude.
But thank you Tonya, dear. That was very sweet of you to say. And let me tell you publicly how HAPPY I am for you, and that I ADORE just like a sister!
Peace Out!

There. That wasn't so hard!
Thank You, Pamilicious(l), for starting this thread such a long time ago. I'm glad it's been revived. We ALL need to apologize to SOMEone about SOMEthing.....we just have to swallow a little pride to do it.....

I feel like I owe my partner an apology for the last 2 years of my health problems she's had to deal with. I have not been pleasant to be around all of the time and she's been a trouper through it all, I'm just sorry she has to deal with it.
