I have alot of tattoos and being a truck driver I have been tattoo'd in many states ... sometimes twice in a state (6)

My request is this ...

Tell me where you got your tattoo ... who is the best in your town or state?

I am looking for artists on the east coast mainly but would love to hear from all. I get to MA, CT, VT, NJ, NY alot and have not had alot of luck in these areas.

ok, well i have three tattoos: one on the ankle-done in malta ny- i think the guy did a great job, but dont remember the name of the place! the second one was done by a woman in poughkeepsie ny, i love her work, cant remember what the name is there either! lol! the third one, which is my butch femme tattoo, was done by a guy from "metamorphosis" a tattoo place in kingston ny. they do a great job there...

Ok, I just had to say this somewhere.
I think I may need my next girlfriend to be a tattoo artist.
I just spent 8 hours being tattooed by this great looking woman. I was a perfect gentlemyn of course, but the thoughts in my head, well they were perfect, just not very gentlemynly.
So here I sit, alone...wishing for a girlfriend, with a tattoo gun, time, and an equal fantasy...

I have 8 tattoos, daisy, cross,baby lion(LT arm) ladybug(finger) angel, bunny(chest) eeyore(RT leg) and a heart with the word bad by it, all of my tattoos where dome here in Wa by a guy named pete who is awsome! im also piecred but thats another topic. I love butchs who r also tattooed. it is a huge turn on for me:P

Tattoo shops were just legalized in MA around 2000 I think, so a whole crap ton of them popped up. I haven't been to any yet, but I am considering a tattoo, so I will be making my visits to local ones at least.

I know that my nephew has had some really nice classic work done at a place called Up In Flames Tattoo in Fall River, MA.

Edit: Both of the tattoos I have were done in Florida.

im in va.. almost all of mine were done in gloucester at abstract art, but i have 2 from todd at k&b tats in richmond!
i have 9!!! :)

Umm!!! Does it hurt when you have this much??? Are you thinking of getting it all over your body?? Wao, I cook and I cut my hand and I thought it was painful, Lolz!!!! :s

I just finished another six hour session, completing my right sleeve.

Both arms are done, wrist to elbow, biceps to shoulders, back of the neck, shoulders, spine, hips, sides and left calve and ankle.

Yes, AL they hurt but are so worth it ;-)

OK, you have 9??? I only have five. Guess I have to step it up and get more. We're so alike in every other way, our # of tattoos should match too. Or at least that's what I can use to justify it with Daddy;)

I do like them a lot, it is my only remaining addiction...
Do they hurt, for me it depends. Generally I do not find them painful, but there small spots that surprise you with intensity. Of course once you know how it feels the mind accepts it and waits for the next one ;)
My most recent one was an 8 hour sit, it is healing as we speak.

Not anywhere that far north..I'm down here in SC.... but most of my work was done by Mans Ruin in Asheville, NC... I'm tellin' ya.. if you ever get up that way, Heather is an awesome artist.. been featured many many times in tat magazines.. the shop is female owned/operated.. all lesbians, and again.. her work is just magnificent!
