I have never been happier then I am right now sweetie.. it has been amazing so far.. the best part is.... there was no getting settled period for us.. we just fell into place and it has been like we have been living together for years.. it is great

the one thing I was worried about was the dogs acceptance of him cuz well the last one I lived with the dog hated her and was always trying to push her away...*smart dog* but he loves his Daddy as much as I do it's great to see them together!!..

In fact, our friends are trying to talk us into getting married on the beach there (many of our friends live there). So we are considering it at this point.

And I know what you mean about not having to really settle in. It feels like I've lived here all along. Seems like we've known each other all our lives, it's so comfortable. This is the first time since I was in my 20's I've felt this comfortable with someone. But I suppose when it's right, it's just right that's all! I'm so happy for you two as well. ok sweetie.. there are many different definations as to what Imbolc is... so I will tell you a couple so you can kinda see what it is all about...

This season belongs to Brigid, the Celtic goddess who in later times became revered as a Christian saint. Originally, her festival on February 1 was known as Imbolc or Oimelc, two names which refer to the lactation of the ewes, the flow of milk that heralds the return of the life-giving forces of spring. Later, the Catholic Church replaced this festival with Candlemas Day on February 2, which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and features candlelight processions. The powerful figure of Brigid the Light-Bringer overlights both pagan and Christian celebrations

Imbolc, (pronounced "IM-bulk" or "EM-bowlk"), also called Oimealg, ("IM-mol'g), by the Druids, is the festival of the lactating sheep. It is derived from the Gaelic word "oimelc" which means "ewes milk". Herd animals have either given birth to the first offspring of the year or their wombs are swollen and the milk of life is flowing into their teats and udders. It is the time of Blessing of the seeds and consecration of agricultural tools. It marks the center point of the dark half of the year. It is the festival of the Maiden, for from this day to March 21st, it is her season to prepare for growth and renewal. Brighid's snake emerges from the womb of the Earth Mother to test the weather, (the origin of Ground Hog Day), and in many places the first Crocus flowers began to spring forth from the frozen earth.

The Maiden is honored, as the Bride, on this Sabbat. Straw Brideo'gas (corn dollies) are created from oat or wheat straw and placed in baskets with white flower bedding. Young girls then carry the Brideo'gas door to door, and gifts are bestowed upon the image from each household. Afterwards at the traditional feast, the older women make special acorn wands for the dollies to hold, and in the morning the ashes in the hearth are examined to see if the magic wands left marks as a good omen. Brighid's Crosses are fashioned from wheat stalks and exchanged as symbols of protection and prosperity in the coming year. Home hearth fires are put out and re-lit, and a besom is place by the front door to symbolize sweeping out the old and welcoming the new. Candles are lit and placed in each room of the house to honor the re-birth of the Sun.

Another traditional symbol of Imbolc is the plough. In some areas, this is the first day of ploughing in preparation of the first planting of crops. A decorated plough is dragged from door to door, with costumed children following asking for food, drinks, or money. Should they be refused, the household is paid back by having its front garden ploughed up. In other areas, the plough is decorated and then Whiskey, the "water of life" is poured over it. Pieces of cheese and bread are left by the plough and in the newly turned furrows as offerings to the nature spirits. It is considered taboo to cut or pick plants during this time.

((((((((((soft))))))))))) thank you sweetie...I did get someone to cover for me last night, but I had to go to my other job today and I still feel icky. I dont know if I will make it in tomorrow. This is the first time I have been this kind of sick since I have been diagnosed with diabetes, I learned today how quicky your blood sugar can drop when you arent keeping food in you. Anyway, luckily I have a very sweet Daddy that takes care of me...so I am just relaxing tonight, and possibly tomorrow.

I should have asked more of a roomy that was pagan. I did a little but thought I was intruding so I didn't ask. But she used to make an alter for the dead with candles (don't know the name of the ritual). And I put a picture of my dead relatives on the alter so she could pray for them as well. I thought that was nice. I'm learning Buddhism right now and really am enjoying it. I know it's changed me. I'm a kinder, gentler person, and don't anger as often, so this is a good thing. Another grrl here, slavin away makin Daddy treats while Hy watches the Game. Hy calls me in to see all the commercials (cuz thats the only part I like) Hys teaching my oldest daughter all about the game and my lil one is helping me make dip in the kitchen. hey all Daddy and I went to a super bowl party last night with a bunch of realitors, doctors, etc... it was a lot of fun.. half was for the Pats and half for the Eagles.. Personally I would have loved to see the Eagles stomp the crap out of the Pats but it was a good game so I guess it doesn't matter who won and who lost...sides with all the food and booze floating around who could keep track of the game?????? the half time showed sucked as much as I like Paul M it was wayyyyyyyyyyy too tame for my tastes...and the only commercial I saw that I really liked was the new mustang one.. that was very cute.....i'm sorry for all of you who are getting snow...giggles.. Ohhh sounds like you had lots of fun!!!...I went shopping the other day...and I have a nail and hair appt. for Friday, to get all pretty for the Ball. I did really good at Lane Bryant the other day...I got a pretty sweater, 4 tops and 5 pairs of panties for $100, the sweater alone was $50 so I did real good. I don't have any links to offer, but i do have this.. Each Daddy/girl relationship is diffrent.. There are strict, D/s Daddy/girl relations, and then there are "lighter", less strict D/g relationships..

I guess my point is that each one is it's own unique *thing*. Protocals can be talked about with a new partner, and desided between the two of you..

Some examples of protocals.. asking permission of a Daddy to; eat, smoke, cum, dress, use the bathroom, cook, ect.. Again, not all Daddy and girls like to be this strict.. it varies.. Sitting on your Daddy's left, waiting for Daddy to take the first bite.. Dressing a certain way at certain times, and refering to Daddy as "Sir/Syr" or "Daddy" are a few others..

But the most important thing is to ask questions of your perspective partner/Dominant and deside together, what works best for you both..

Hope that kind of helps, and if not.. There are indeed some awesome threads and topics here on the site to check out.

hmm... choosing the team with the more dominant colored uniform usually works too... then the stronger animal named team... bears over eagles..for instance.... which is the more dominant animal?

as for the internet....I work for a very large company, but it also seasonal, and since its pretty much winter everywhere else BUT here in Calif. it means shipping freight is slow.....so, I come in to work--do my work and have about 6 hrs left to do nothing...but they will change in the next few wks. when I'll be back to working 12-14 hrs a day and wkends.......so although boring I do enjoy the "downtime" while it lasts :)

I have a question for the other girls in here, if I may? Do or have any of you ever had problems when your Daddi's ask you about your fantasies, etc voicing that stuff. I seem to get terribly shy and embarassed. It's funny because I am not like that all the time. Hy asks me and I go all silly and cannot even reply. I feel like an idiot, lol....What makes me feel even more silly is the fact that Daddi has no problems speaking Hys mind and I find Hym to be a perfect match in that department. So why in the world can I just not open my mouth and speak. Usually I am so forward and say whatever I think. I did sit down and write a letter, emailed it off and then called hys cell phone and left hym a nice little message telling hym to go check hys email that I answered hys questions. I cannot only talk to hym through email though, lol. Any ideas girls? Well, any of you Daddi's can answer too.

I have a question for the other girls in here, if I may? Do or have any of you ever had problems when your Daddi's ask you about your fantasies, etc voicing that stuff. I seem to get terribly shy and embarassed. It's funny because I am not like that all the time. Hy asks me and I go all silly and cannot even reply. I feel like an idiot, lol....What makes me feel even more silly is the fact that Daddi has no problems speaking Hys mind and I find Hym to be a perfect match in that department. So why in the world can I just not open my mouth and speak. Usually I am so forward and say whatever I think. I did sit down and write a letter, emailed it off and then called hys cell phone and left hym a nice little message telling hym to go check hys email that I answered hys questions. I cannot only talk to hym through email though, lol. Any ideas girls? Well, any of you Daddi's can answer too.
Mindy I totally know what you mean. I get all shy when Daddy even looks at me the wrong or I mean the "right" way. And I have an even harder time if I need to initiate a conversation about that stuff...lol. I have had to break down and write emails sometimes because I get so shy. And its wierd cuz I have never been like that before. I dont think I have ever had someone make me blush like Daddy does.

Syr, I have a 10 gallon with guppies and mollies. I have another 10 gallon and 5 gallon for the babies to grow up in before they get sold to the fish shop. In my 30 gallon, I have 3 Blood Parrots with a few Zebra Danios in. I have to get a bigger one, though, since I just got the 3rd fish, but I just had to have him. My son has a 5 gallon with one little Betta. He also has some Firebelly Toads, but not with the fish, of course, lol. They are cuties. I would love a salt water tank, but that is something that would have to wait until I own my own home and not renting/moving around. Too much work to be tearing down.

Aine, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels silly about that kind of talk. I'm hoping that once the "newness" wears off a bit, I'll be a bit more comfortable. It's too funny how silly I get talking to hym..... :o

I soooooooo Love being here and being with my Daddy.. even though it is sooooooo new to us we are working things out and it's like we have lived together forever and never had any kind of adjustment it's been wonderful!!!

now I am off to go spend some down time with him before bed.. night everyone!!!

I haven't been here for awhile but I must belong here because I met someone who makes me feel like a Daddi for the first time -- Butterfly2b. She's in Arkansas right now, getting ready to come to California to stay. On Feb. 20th I'll be flying from L.A. to Dallas to help her drive her car back. Anybody know the best route? We want to avoid the mountains because of possible bad weather, so I'm thinking the more southerly route through Tucson would be better than the Flagstaff/Kingman route. But I don't know anything about the lower route so I'm not sure what the pitfalls might be. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well.

I take the Southern route in the bad weather hwy 10 I believe and hwy 40 on the good weather days. Or do I have that switched? I just got off a 24hr shift so bare with me. I'll call you and after I have time to relax a min.

I just went to the store and bought a huge bokay of balloons for Daddi as well as Shrimp, lobster, crab and all the trimmings. Daddi Lee will be surprised when hy gets home. I have more surprises in store, but that is private (tee hee) ;)

Today I went to the Chicago Auto show. They have an awesome new Toyota coming out and I like it almost as much as the Rav4. It's called the FJ Cruiser. Really cool vehicle. I saw some great Mustangs there too! OMG they were incredible. I love Mustangs.

Then after the car show, we went to Chinatown for dinner. We had Mongolian beef, Egg Foo Yung, and Curry Chicken. We all shared, so we got to have a bit of everything. I think it was the best darned chinese food I ever had, lol....It was fun day, even if it wasn't spent with Daddi. Can't wait til he's back from NY!

hey sweetie..i'm here just been very busy lately looking for a new job.. I interviewed on Thursday for one and have a second interview next week.. it is a brand new position with a company who has offices all over the east coast soooooo when we move I can just transfer to another location.. it is a wonderful opportunity for me...

Daddy and I went to lunch yesterday with Shero and Femmebabygirl and Mustang Butch and a few other people from yahoo it was very nice we had a good time then we went to a leather store called Daddy's closet.. I got a shirt with a purple m&m girl on it and it says S&M under her and she is dressed in leather. it is very cute....

then today we went to the nude beach and we are both pretty burned.. But I have to burn to tan so it's all good..we are going back next weekend too I can't wait it was nice but we are going earlier next week so we can get closer to the water.. there are people EVERYWHERE there...giggles...tons of eye candy!!! giggles

I am so glad you are doing the bellydancing classes. I love painting.It is my escape to paint my reality, or my dreams, or just whatever comes out in the paint to canvas. Painting is so relaxing, Well Belly Dancing may be good too..Especially for Daddi Lee ;) . We talked about this before: as you look at that painting I did entitiled "Sweet Music" there are sublte things that draw some to it, like you. There is so much left unsaid, and small sublte things which don;t show on the gallery photo.Like the book I entitled to go in it, with the astrological signs on the cover..A picture being worh a thousand words, as "they" (Who are They anyway, adn where do They live?). Who What, Where ,When, and Why. Was the strand of pears the first thing to be taken off? Or the last. Was She playing the violin for Hym, or vice versa. Is that a book of poetry or erotica? One glass of champagne? Was there a Daddy giving ginger ale or a Stone Butch toasting their evening together with
the best champagne, and just beyond your view is........
So, now to your imagery..You always could set up an easel, put on some music and paint to that hypnotic music, and paint what ever comes out...on the canvas.

Someone asked me to post some of the other things I have done, or ammworking on, and will do so, soon as I figure out my new digital camera and computer stuff....bbeee back later this week and see what mischief ya all r gettin into.. DaddT

The Wedding...the Bellydance classes...etc. You will love bellydancing, I started dancing almost 4 years ago..but unfortunately I am without a teacher right now. I have only been able to perform once in the last year. Our troupe has just kind of fallen apart...I miss is so much. Maybe after I get moved my daughter and I can go find a new teacher. I really hate to see her lose her skills, she has been dancing since she was 7, and she is a natural...*sigh* I should post some of our Bellydancing pics, to let you see...anyway good luck, and keep in mind, if this class doesnt work for you, dont give up, there are many styles of dancing and teaching, there is something out there bound to fit you and your comfort level.

Thank you so much for the nice words. A troupe came in to have their pictures taken (bellydancers) and I asked her about them because they looked so nice, and she was a teacher, gave me her name and number and I hope to start this coming Monday. They perform all over the United States and their costumes were so beautiful, so thought I'd give it a try. Since I like wiggling around the dance floor, thought I'd try to make it look good!
Aine I want to see those photos of you and your daughter bellydancing!!! Goodie, post post post! I'll be looking for them.

So I know it's all a matter of how you present yourself. You present yourself as confident and sexy and you will come across that way! Don't EVER let your size stop you from ANYTHING!

You'll have plenty of time to get settled in, all of our travel plans are taken this year. We've got so many places we want to go, and not the $ to get to all the places, so it'll have to be on the wish list....but I'll be wishing hard ;)

Bellydancing was made for BELLIES...I have seen hundreds of dancers, and my favorites are always the ones with the bellies. It makes a more graceful movement. And hips...if you have nice full hips you are blessed for bellydancing...they make nice big movements with minimal work...I on the other hand have boy hips and have to work very hard for my movements to be seen...especially from the stage. Also there are these fabulous things called body stockings...they look like fine mesh panties with a really high top...they come in nude and many colors (mine is black) You pin them under your costume top and they hide all kinds of imperfections, I have seen someone with a very saggy tummy and many stretchmarks look like they have an absolute perfect tummy with her skimpy costume...and...there are many types of costumes...ranging from very modest to very skimpy. I am shy about my belly but when I get on stage I flaunt it...I put the belly in bellydancing. I am going to post some links for you guys...I have hundreds of them so if you would like to talk more and get more of them let me know...yahoo me or something.

I'm 30 mins. south of Los Angeles, about an hour north of San Diego, adjacent to aguna Beach and Newport Beach, CA.

i tried to go to the castro in sf in jan as i wanted to see it badly and get some real nice rainbow jewelery...but she wouldn't even step outside of the house 30 feet to mcd's to get her own coffee... (her apt was right beside mcd's) lol... that was mainly why i had left... such a huge procrastinator she was.

im rather high maintenance when it comes to doing things as i dont like to sit around for too long...

Secret-I have the door open right now, it's still kinda cool and may rain today, but the bulbs are coming up and things are budding, so it's just around the corner I just know it. (h)
