my dear sweet mother used to say "patsy" when you love you smother people. i guess i am truly guilty of this. when you and i first met you had to get me used to being touched i had placed a nice lil wall between me and the world of intimacy. after the years you have endured teaching me "touch" i find myself longing for it 'yearning for 'it" needing it to sustain me.

when i find myself not getting the daily quota i tend to begin to find fault with in myself . i suppose this is typical femme behavior.

i'm sorry to hear about your kitty. That's so sad and I too often wonder why some people are so mean. They have to be unbelievably miserable to want to hurt others in that way and i think you're doing a great job of handlng it. i also agree about the "Just a cat" thing. That always gets over with me because it makes no difference if your friend is furry or fur-challenged, two-legged, four-legged, or no-legged that was a living, intelligent, loving creature who was your friend and that is all that matters. i hope you're feeling better and i'm glad your Daddy is able to be there with you and make you feel better.

Oh my goodness do I have some catchin up to do...I dont even think I have posted since we got back from the bash, have I?
To everyone at the bash..it was great meeting you all. We didnt meet nearly as many as we wanted to, but were very happy to meet those that we did.
We had a great time playin in Vegas! Syrs sister met up with us there so not only did we have all the fun bash stuff to do, but we spent some fun time with her, too. I was completely worn out pretty much the entire time we were there and for about a week after. I do that to myself everytime we go to Vegas, there is just so much to see and do there...and I dont even gamble. And we have never made it to a single show...just so much to walk around and see. And there seems to be new things everytime we go.
Anyway...after we got back from Vegas we had 2 bellydance shows that my daughter was performing in, and of course we had Halloween....October always ends up to be a very busy month in our house....but I LOVE IT!
I also adopted a new doggie...a 6 year old Shih Tzu named Hannah....I was in pretty big trouble for getting her, cuz I kinda went against Daddies wishes when I got her. Hy didnt want a new dog yet...and Hy told me not to get a Shih Tzu cuz Hy "HATES" them. Well I was in alot of trouble like I said, but when Daddy got home and met her Hy wasnt so mad at me anymore, and funny thing is she is now "Daddy's baby" I dont think Hy couldve resisted those big buggy eyes anymore than I could have. I still really miss my Karma, but it is nice to have another little furry one to focus my energy on.
Lets see, other than all of that...it has pretty much been life as usual...go to work, come home and collapse for the night.

Pacemakers from what I know are very simple to insert.. my dad was supposed to get one.. but.. he has other complications, but it's day surgery mostly, and many folks have one.. it was just keep the ol' ticker running smoothly.. fear not! hugs LJ(f)

Im sorry you to hear you have to have one sweetheart but from wot i have heard alot of people have them so dont worry & i think there is a couple things you have to steer clear of while having one but the doctors will tell you all you need to know to reassure you that everything will b ok sooooo sweet lady just think how much difference it will make to you life(y) :D

I have a friend who is a surgical tech who has assisted with several of these surgeries. My friend had to get one inserted a few years ago. From what he had told me was that its a simple and common surgery. As others have said, you're doctor will tell you what to avoid after the pacemaker is inserted. Congrats on finding your glasses...I've lost mine many times and have had to hunt them down :s Years ago, I started wearing contacts. I remember one time when I was at Disney World with my 5 year old niece. We were walking down Main Street in Disney when my contact popped out. When my neice realized what was wrong, she yelled "Stop everyone, my aunt lost her contact" lol I finally found the contact on the ground and while I was at it, also met a really handsome Butch lol

She has regained conciousness and the new medication is working. She is still in the hospital but is on the up swing. Mic and Misty, thank you two especially. Sorry for not posting for awhile. I have been away on vacation that has turned into me moving up there.....So I might be away a lot longer.
