So so very empty in here it is frightning..

I for one knows the butch femme scene in SA is massive..just dont think they come online..much..

A real pity!

I am definitely missing the BUTCH - FEMME scene back home (ja, ek woon in Engeland ... maar mis die poppies and meisies in ou Gauteng!).

There is nothing like a South African femme - trust me on that one - loyal, loving and makes this bois heart skip a beat and I thinks I shall go home and get me a wife...

Oh wow..Another Gautenger..

Wonderlik!

I have met quite a lot of wonderful English Femmes..So they are there..hehe..Some of them are just a tad bit involved.. ;)

It is also the thing about culture when it comes to Butch Femme... I am more used to SA Femme girls to be honest..You can take the girl out of Africa but never Africa out of the girl..Still..There is a lot to be said for the Diversity of the whole scene in the UK..Not so much as back home.. :(

When you go home next..Can I place my order..hehe ;)

Waar in Gauteng is jy vandaan?

Dankie Kace.. (b)

Ek was al by Wotever en gaan weer daar wees die 9de Okt..n Pragtige vriendin (MissCatt) van my en haar baie aantreklike Boi (Zimbabwe) vier hulle commitment ceremony daar..

I have found only one more SA'can on here so far..a very pretty woman...Damn if I can remember her name now..but she resides in SA..a real pity.. ;)

Dit is a klein wereld... inderdaad!

Ek sal jou seker een van die dae ontmoet ou maat... ek sal in die UK "thread" loer ... en hallo se.

Hi Saph!

(waving from Pretoria and waving to all other fellow South Africans on this thread) it is so good to know that there are more Africans sharing this wonderful space.

I'm in Pretoria BUT my heart is in Florida (US of A) (boo hoo) :( - you know there is chance that you may just lose your heart to one of these nice bois in here ;)

Thanks for starting this thread and I tell you on B-F the BUTCHES rule!

I've recently returned from the bash in NOLA and it was such fun! Miz Chris and Daddy Rhon are the best!

Sorry, I didn't want to start a whole new thread, but I have a question:

How's the climate in some countries of Africa these days for gay people? I'm most interested in Angola, Mozambique, and Nigeria. We are a couple with two small children under the age of 4. Would it be too hard to live there openly for say 10-12 months?

Nigeria holds a special place in my heart as it is the place my grandma's family were from, but Angola and Mozambique are also interesting because of my cultural and linguistic connections.

Thanks,

shero

Hi Shero,

I got lots of answers from friends elsewhere and in Africa. We decided we do not want to live in a place pretending we are cousins (or that I, the dark skinned one, is the servant). So, we are instead headed to Brazil next year! :)

Thanks a lot though,

Rav

I sometimes forget that I can pass pretty easily when I travel (altho not always) so it's probably a hugely diff experience for folks that present as a homosexual couple. Thanks for this post. It's opened my eyes and made me think about stuff b4 I go there for a visit!
Best of luck to you and your wife. :) Post Pics!!! <:o):D

Wow.. just looked through all the replies..! Have not been on the site for ages as my partner and I have just done the baby thing, had twins, and my work is crazy busy.. Come and visit South africa.. it's fabulous.. Africa is fabulous, yes it has it's issues but we're here and everywhere, out and proud, and sometimes more hidden, but we manage and life is good!
