Morrissey cancelled (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5054276/)
Now I am even more angst-ridden. Like he is gonna be anywhere near me.

That's a shame about his appearances on the "Late, Late Show" being cancelled due to illness. Though, I just saw an encore performance of Morrissey singing "Every day is like Sunday" on The Late, Late show with Craig Kilborn.
Kilborn closed the show saying, "Get well, Morrissey."
Meningitis? Oh, dear.. :'(

Anyone here ever read "How soon is never?" By MArk Spitz (Not the swimmer).
Kickass book.
Based on some rock writer who is an Uber Smiths fan.
Just curious to see other folks who have read it.

I'm so sad that he cancelled. I would have sat in front of my teevee and cried if he was performing. I suppose now that he's not I can still sit in front of my teevee and cry, though.
A little bit of trivia about me: I wear a large silver heart-shaped locket nearly every day. Inside that locket are two photos: One of Morrissey. One of Robert Smith.
That will be all.

p/s - edited to say that the locket is silver. I'd originally typed pink - heaven knows why.

No, I haven't. I'll have to check out the local library, since I'm always looking for a good book recommendation.
Have you ever read "All men have secrets"? It's a collection of little things written by Smiths fans about how the Smiths affected their lives, what they were doing when the first heard the Smiths, etc. Sometimes it's a really embarassing horrible fangirlish book - but sometimes it's absoulutely fantastic.

NO, I haven't heard of it, but I will look it up.
Look up "How soon is never?" On Amazon.com...or just look up mark Spitz.
HE is coming out with a new book in February.
