What's
all the buzz about mailing lists?
Subscribing to an email discussion list is one of
the most rewarding ways to connect with the Butch-Femme
community online. By sharing your views and experiences
with a group of Butches and Femmes via email, you
can find support, make friends all over the world,
and perhaps also find a compatible new lover. A mailing
list group is one of the oldest forms of community
on the Internet.
Keep
in mind that joining a mailing list requires a degree
of commitment on your part. Do you have the time to
participate in an online community? Do you have the
courage to share and the desire to make friends out
of strangers? Although you will meet like-minded individuals,
there are others who may have had a different journey.
Are you willing to remain open-minded and supportive
so that others feel safe to be open?
Sometimes finding a friendly list that is a good match
for you is the key to finding a home in cyber space.

Butch-Femme
Butch-Femme is
a diverse and friendly queer discussion and social list
for those who identify as either Butch or Femme. Members
range from lesbian to transgendered. This list has been
around for over five years and is well-established with
a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and no drama. Butch-Femme
is wrangled by Angel and Poet.
Butch-FemmeUK
Butch-FemmeUK
is a new group for Butches and Femmes in the United Kingdom
and surrounding areas. BFU is primarly a social group for
folks to connect at the local level. Butch-FemmeUK is co-wrangled
by Kel and Suze.
ClubHeaven
This
is the official flirt list! Club Heaven is a long-running,
very fun and very active social group for those who identify
as either Femme or Butch. To be where the angels are, you
must a be Butch into Femmes or a Femme into Butches. Club
Heaven is wrangled by Margo and Becca.
Colours
Colours is a lively and
supportive discussion list and social group specifically
for Butches and Femmes of color.

Couples
Couples is a list for
support, discussion and community-building for committed
Butch-Femme couples. The Couples list has members who have
been together 40 years, and members who have not yet rinsed
the "just married" slogans from their wedding
mobile.
Topics range in scope from what keeps the passion alive,
to building friendships with other queer couples. Couples

Dagger
Dagger
is a nurturing and supportive Butch-only space for queer
and lesbian Butch females who who are into Femmes. (If
you are TG/FTM, please check out PoolHall for Butch-bonding.)Topics
range from discussions about Butch identity, to trying to
figure out Femmes. Therefore, no Femmes are allowed! Dagger
is wrangled by Skeeter.
Daddy-Girl
Daddy-Girl
is a group intended for those who are into the age play
dynamic of Daddy-Girl. The group will be discussing the
emotional and erotic aspects of this connection. and creating
community amongst those who share in this type of attraction.

FABU
Regional mailing
list groups of Femmes and Butches United (FABU) are an excellent
social resource across the US and Canada for kinship, support,
and fun in real life at the local level. Most of the FABU
regional lists host get-togethers making it easier for FABU
members to meet and create friendships and relationships
with other Butches and Femmes in their areas. FABU-PNW is
wrangled by Sandy, aka Peach. FABU-Central is wrangled by
the notorious Gina. FABU-South is co-wrangled by Stone and
Maya. FABU-West is wrangled by the infamous WickedSuzi.
FABU-East is wrangled by Joan, aka BrooklynFemme. FABU-North

FineWine
FineWine is a
beloved mailing list group for mature old-school lesbian
and/or queer Butches and Femmes with strong Butch/Femme
identities. The focus is primarily social, with a loving
and welcoming atmosphere. The age required for the list
is 50, but partners of list members may join if they are
over the age of 40. FineWine is wrangled by ET aka HuskyButch.
Fresh
Fresh
is a mailing list group for young Butches and Femmes with
strong Butch/Femme identities. The focus is primarily social,
with a fun-loving and welcoming atmosphere. The age required
for the list is between 18-28. Fresh is wrangled by Fran.
FTM/SOFFA
FTM-SOFFA is a discussion list and social support group
for Female to Male transexuals in all stages of transition
as well at their significant others, friends, families,
and allies. Please understand that some FTMs on this list
may not identify as Butch or queer, but as heterosexual.
The list wrangler asks that members be open-minded about
gender and sexuality variances. Topics range from issues
about transitioning to finding welcoming trans-friendly

LoveShack
The whole shack
shimmies! LoveShack is a fun and flirty list for single
Butches who are into Femmes and single Femmes who are into
Butches to meet, greet, and have fun interacting with one
another. More than a few love connections have been made
on the LoveShack! LoveShack is wrangled by Fever.
Old-School
Old-School is
a discussion list for Butches, Stone Butches, TG/FTMs and
Femmes of all descriptions who are strong in their Butch
and Femme idenities. The list is for Butches who are into
Femmes and Femmes who are into Butches. Topics range from
light social banter to the politics of gender and sexuality.

Phat
Phat is a social
group and activist list for Butches and Femmes of size and
their admirers. Expect a fat-positive, supportive atmosphere
to share the unique experiences of being fat and queer.
Topics range from friendly exchange on anything under the
sun to the politics of size, gender and sexuality. Phat

PoolHall
PoolHall is a
well-established mailing list/support and social group for
Butches and TG/FTMs who are partnered with or attracted
to Femmes. PoolHall is the place to hang out with your Butch
brothers for bonding, mentoring and support, and to partiipate
in the discussion of issues unique to Butches. This is a
Butch-only space. Hopefully the brothers on PoolHall can
help one other understand those wonderful and sometimes
mysterious creatures known as Femmes. PoolHall is wrangled

Socal
Socal is an email list for those Butches/Femmes and FtMs in Southern California. It is intended for those members who which to make real time connection in that specific geographic region. Beyond a getting to know you email list, this list also serves as an announcment lists for happenings going on in the Southern California area. Socal is wrangled by Crack.
SilverBacks
Silverbacks is
another Butch-only space, but is intended for mature Butches
and TG/FTMs who are masculine-identified and over the age
of 40. Members on Silverbacks are partnered with
or attracted to Femmes. Most
of the Butches on this list refer to themselves and other
Butches with male pronouns.

Stiletto
Stiletto is a the original
queer discussion list about BDSM focused
exclusively on the Butch/Femme dynamic.
The list is for bio-females who strongly identify as either
Butch/TG/FTM or Femme. Stiletto is a kinky place to share
stories, give and receive support and build community. Since
sharing on personal topics is encouraged, the List Wrangler
strongly discourages lurking. Please be ready to share some
of yourself, from wherever you are on your BDSM journey.

StoneButch
This is the
oldest list on Butch-Femme.com, and the place where the
insanity first began! Created by Daddy Rhon more than five
years ago, StoneButch remains one of the strongest lists
in the Butch-Femme.com community. StoneButch is a group
intended for those Butches who identify as Stone or old-school,
and all the Stonefemmes, High Femmes and Femmes who love
them. Butches on StoneButch are by habit referred to with
male pronouns. This is primarily to distinguish between
the Butches and the Femmes, but TG Butches and FTMs are
also very welcome if they feel comfortable in Butch-Femme
space. Topics run the gamut from intellectual debate to
fun banter. StoneButch is wrangled by Merrick and Stoneblu.
StoneFemme
Bond
with your Femme sisters. Stonefemme
is a long-running mailing list for StoneFemmes and other
Femmes interested in exploring StoneFemme and Femme issues
amongst peers. Queer Femmes, high Femmes, and lesbian Femmes
primarily into Butches are welcome. Bisexual Femmes primarily
into Butches are also welcome with the caveat that they
honor the focus of this queer space by not posting about
relationships with men. The private atmosphere on StoneFemme
is friendly and supportive. We adore Butches, but this list
is not for Butches. This is a place for us, where we can
let our hair down and get to know one another without distraction!

TG-FTM
TG-FTM is a
supportive space for bonding with other transmen and transgendered
Butches without the mixed company of Femmes. Most of the
members on TG-FTM are primarily partnered with or attracted
to Femmes, but Femmes aren't allowed on this private list.
Topics range from light and friendly banter amongst peers
to transitioning issues. TG Butches, FTMs, and other female-born,
masculine gender-variants are welcome here. The TG-FTM list
is wrangled by Owen.
TheFemmeSpot
This is an online
community for queer women that id as Femme. The focus: to
bridge the gap between ALL Femmes regardless of partner
preference. .
Finally a place to come and have fresh, insightful, sometimes
silly, yet always honest dialogue with each other. TheFemmeSpot
is Medusa.
TotallyFemme
Totally
Femme is an inclusive Femme-only space intended for bonding
amongst Femme peers, devoted to the celebration of femme
diversity. Femmes into Butches, Bi-Femmes, MTFs, and Femmes
into Femmes are welcome on TotallyFemme. Discussion freely
ranges from fun topics to more serious issues related to
being feminine and queer. TotallyFemme is wrangled by Sadie.
